F1 2020 - Racing Point livery colour is wrong

From what I‘ve witnessed so far in the early F1 2020 content from YouTubers it seems as if the colour of the Racing Point is completely wrong as you can see in the pictures below. I understand it is an early build and even the cars except Renault don‘t have their real life chassis‘ yet, but I am anxious the colour will be the same come game release. The pink needs to be a lot more saturated and darker. Maybe you can pass this on to the devs. See pictures for comparison:

 

Also, the Haas halo has a carbon fibre look, not a plain black one:

Yeah the racing point is too light pink in the game and the McLaren is too light orange also

Racing Point has been too light last year as well. Hope this year they get it right.

Color saturation is your friend! I notice the real life shots of the RP have full saturation as can be clearly seen with the green grass. Compare that to the desaturated game shots and that might be the answer. You can't compare the two unless ALL colors are clearly displayed with accurate color saturation.

The pink still looks way too washed out and desaturated though. It‘s looking more like „babyish“ powder pink in the game. Even YouTubers who have the game noticed that. It is definitely a tad or more off.

I imagine this will get fixed for the release as this is just a WIP version of the game.

Hi everyone,

The bolded quote from @AllenB2609 is not exactly true. They have a version of the game, with limited modes, on they will be on a previous 'media' build that isn't the most up to date one. Like @Nightfire1964 said, the game, in all facets, is still a work in progress and subject to change, as there are multiple builds of the game updated internally weekly that will never see the light of day.

Game versions in development become old fast.

I just know that some of the Youtubers have said the colour looks a little off. However I have good faith in Codemasters updating this (if not already done) 👍🏼

The actual Haas livery is gloss black not carbon.

In real life it is carbon if you look at the pictures/videos from pre season testing. Haas have always had a carbon black halo.

Just look at the picture I have provided from the car running at winter testing. It is definitely carbon style like they had last year and the year before.

Probably hard to get right with all the color filters they need to put on the game to hide their orange EGO graphic engine.
