How do you beat the lights in a grid start?

Recommended Posts

Well someone did, grid start in Canada, the lights where still going and my opponent flew off literally when he smashed into the car in front. Sending them both flying in the air and landing on it’s side. Interestingly he still managed to keep racing and this is a screen shot after the finish. Have a look at his pi.

Don't know about flying off but I noticed my opponent rolls forward and bumps into the car in front at red light quite frequently these days.

So tell me ... the AI cars are controlled by the Codemasters programming.  The programming controls the start lights.  So how come the AI cars do not know when the light go out? 🤔

More to the point look at your safety rating! You must be spending most of your time using the car in front as a brake!

If you play this game long enough you would know that you’re Pi goes down even in qualifying if you spend a little time on the grass or if you hit the walls.

Safety Ratings will go down even if you get R&D points.

> 17R&D points mean Safety rating will increase.

Anything below 17 R&D means Safety ratings compromised.
