F1 2015 GamePlay at E3!

Recommended Posts

Everyone, here's a better look at the gameplay without the weird angles.
It's the same Monaco video, just scaled from trapezoid perspective look to rectangular:

Edit. Double post of @alexbishop123 above of Austin, TX using a steering wheel. There is also some collision and massive corner cutting and penalties.

Graphics look OK, apart from that nasty popin on that building on the left in the start finish straight.

It's such a shame that all those people can't drive this game. 2/4 races we've seen resulted in a DSQ...

The game looks even better on that Austin video with Massa btw.

still has the same animation of the driver putting his hand in the air after contact, they could've at least changed it a little bit, either have different ones or change it a little bit.

@LiteralZero, Can you say whether its possible to disable the 'Auto-centering Steering' at all...?

You know, when you turn the steering wheel it stops where you put it, rather than return to the center...

THX!

Can you explain more what you mean? Someone asked this in the pcars forum too, but I don't get it? The steering should return to the center anyway, it would in real life.. I mean if you were driving making a turn and let go of your wheel it would center. It's basic physics, so this seems completely realistic to me? Maybe I am missing what your saying
As my previous post:
Well, I always felt there was a 'hidden' assist, as though the game was always trying to center the wheel, sort of 'pulling' the wheel...could've been my settings though.

The only game/sim where I felt in total control is rFactor (Not rFactor 2 though)...But that's possibly the problem...?

When you're using multiple racing titles and the way they handle, obviously some feel more 'real' than others...

Bold because your upset? I read that too, I think that what I was saying is that would naturally occur in real life so it's pretty accurate. I think the only thing that would slightly differ would be the rate in which the wheel centers and that would change depending on speed... But you just want it to feel more like one of those other games, I get that...so then what do those other games do? Because I've never played them

Wow, the replay footage looks incredible at the start of the race. It's almost Sky broadcast quality with the lighting, shadows, camera positioning and the movement. The collision in the beginning of the Spa replay with the Ferrari's and the AI bumping each other in an attempt re-enter the race seemed a little robot-esque, but the rest is a gigantic leap forward from last gen in terms of realism.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWuag1mvVkQ  more gameplay!
where's the "broadcast style"? That's it?Before the race it is just that? After just a few seconds like that or this build doesn't have full presentation? The guy talks in portuguese and I can translate: he says game looks graphically good, specially the rain effects, says the car gets really twitchy. That's it.

Worse gameplay footage ever! the only good thing about this stupid game is the graphics. The quality of the idiotic people who work for this thief company surely shows.  What a fucken joke Codemasters. The handling and the wheel... what a fucken joke. This company is filled with MORONS who don't even know what they talk about half of the time. This game is an embarrassment to motor sport.  These people are hilarious! A game that plays that bad gone gold! LMFAO

....I thought you already seen how the gameplay footage, handling and wheel was before seeing this.Remember, you had a copy of the game and played it before any of these vids came out

That Spa video at the top of the page here should a piece of body work on the track even after 1 lap

Big disappointment. Looks like a F1 2014-b version.
- graphics are oke but not a big step forward
- HUD still looks shit
- AI still drives the same as in F1 2010 (not a positive thing)
- T-cam is horrible
- No TV style experience

I 've been looking forward for this game since the next gen consoles came, but I'm so disappointed. Think I will cry in a corner and play Project Cars some more.

Sub menu pretty similar except they've added "downforce".

Also I noticed that in this video debris from the first lap indicent were still there on the second lap. It doesn't look like they just disappear instantly anymore which is good.
