Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feeback Racing Wheel
supported?
I had this exact question too!
Now I've recieved the boxed game and this wheel it's listed in the readme but for some reasons it was not listed on this thread.
When I finish installing the game, I will tell you who was right

I´ve been having some major issues with this controller " Thrustmaster GPX Lightback Xbox 360 "

I´ve used it in F1 2013 and F1 2014 and no problems.... this game comes out and I can´t drive
The car on straights is weaving like crazy, can´t keep it straight ... when I press B to Back like it says in the bottom corner I just go forward ... Pressed go to track by a mistake and was going to press B to back and I just went out for some reason....

Any answers :)? ... Peace

With the control of the Xbox to PC, I feel the same SAEVARM3, the car is going straight incapad and buttons are changed.

This is just an example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e_MaF_PFYI

PS: I´m not doing the weaving by myself, I´m trying to keep it straight but all it does is twitch and takes weird turns .... atm I can´t play the game which is a shame :(

EDIT:

I did a whole lap in Bahrain just to showcase how shitty this is ... I´m fighting the car the whole lap haha

Hopefully soon get an update to fix bugs and referring to the game in general, I was disappointed much, much. If I had known this, I would not have bought even more, he had bought in 2014 and keep playing ...

The wheel works, it's detected as a Thrustmaster T100 but then you can select T100 or F430 configuration in the slider below. The problem is that it has very light FFB (tested with 100% driver and game) compared to F1 2014.
Anoter big problem is the ridicolous high sensibility of the brake pedal, and there is no more a sensibility configuration of the pedals.

EDIT: I'm also experiencing the changing button configuration like in the SAVEARM3's video.

After taking a gamble the SRW-S1 is supported which was a relief but navigating through the menus and choosing options is a nightmare. I chose custom to set up additional buttons I can race OK but accessing certain menus is just complete guesswork, the game assumes I have an Xbox controller for some reason.

No g27 support.  This is bullsh@@t .
Game out now ps4.  G29 out September/October here in aust.  Have 2 perfectly fine g27 setups on obutto rigs. And u (codemasters want me to play a driving game with a pad. No way.)  Why should I be forced to buy an inferior wheel with no shifter for more money. Or even spend money on thrustmaster t500rs.  Fix this . Never thought codemasters would do this to loyal customers.  Think of the sheer number of people who have g25/27 wheels.

Not Codemasters' fault. Blame Logitech and Sony, the G27 doesn't work in any games on PS4. If I was you, I'd get a Thrustmaster T300. I got one from overseas to replace my G27, for about $400 AUD delivered. It's so much better than the G27/G29.

Any plans to add fine tuning for controllers? Stuff like deadzones and sensitivities?

It is codemasters fault to a point. Why. Well according to sonys line it is up to each developer.to support wheels. So the ps4 can run g25/g27 or any previous wheel gor that matter.
Sorry but t300 looks cheap and nasty.  Compared to thrustmaster t500rs.
Will download latest update and see what happens.
If had a decent pc would pass ps4 version as would do with project cars.
Hopefully this all gets sorted. That everybody wins out

Logitech themselves stated their wheel wasn't compatible with PS4 so there is absolutely no chance it will ever be compatible. If it was up to each developer, why is no game on PS4 compatible with the G27?

The T300 is actually a more precise wheel with better FFB than the T500 and is also cheaper. The pedals that come with the T300 are of course worse than the T500's, but you can upgrade them.  The technology of the T300 is far better with the brushless servomotor. I don't really get where you got "cheap and nasty" from, many people prefer the T300 due to its FFB, precision and the fact that it doesn't have static paddles like the T500. The T300 is also 100% compatible with PS4 whilst the T500's compatibility is on a game by game basis and it is up to each developer to make it compatible. Also the T500 isn't compatible in the PS4 menus.

That being said the T500 is still an awesome wheel and the pedal set is far better. It is more powerful than the T300, but the T300 is more precise and its force feedback is much more detailed. I'll try and find an infographic I saw that Thrustmaster did as a comparison.

Edit: here is that infographic

Once again the forcefeedback is nothing short of aweful!
I own a Fanatec CLubsport wheel base and F1 rim and the FFB in this game is rubbish.
I seriously doubt that anyone who tested this game has ever played any other sim at all...

Compared to other "games" like Assetto Corsa / RFactor and even Project Cars.. the FFB is substandard and should not have been allowed through quality control to begin with. I had my doubt about buying this game but thought "what the heck" and again have to say that I am seriously let down (yet again) at what can only be described as a "console game" (Should NOT be released for PC)..

Try turning the controller on once you get into the menu, not before you launch the game. Worked for me.

Can you turn it off without un-plugging it from your computer?

I´m using this controller but there is no on/off button on it

I have a wireless Xbox 360 controller and the only way to turn it off is to either wait a few minutes or take the batteries out. So I'm unsure about your one but I'd say the only way to turn it off would be unplugging it.

Clubsport V2 wheelbase and Formula Rim user here and the FFB is awful, it's so bad I can't bring myself to play the game as I'm not getting good feedback as to what the car is doing and it's really weak even on 100%, I'm hoping a mistake has been made and a quick patch can increase the feedback level because right now it's undriveable

Undrivable is a tough word. I would say instead a little too light to feel confortable with the handling. I have the same feeling in Time Trial but not in Multiplayer, Championship or Pro Mode.
