Clubsport V2 wheelbase and Formula Rim user here and the FFB is awful, it's so bad I can't bring myself to play the game as I'm not getting good feedback as to what the car is doing and it's really weak even on 100%, I'm hoping a mistake has been made and a quick patch can increase the feedback level because right now it's undriveable

Undrivable is a tough word. I would say instead a little too light to feel confortable with the handling. I have the same feeling in Time Trial but not in Multiplayer, Championship or Pro Mode.
I can't feel what the car is doing, I may as well be playing with my first PC wheel, the Thrustmaster T1 which had no FFB just a bungie cord to centre the wheel. That is not satisfactory. I considered asking for a refund on Steam but I'll wait and see what the next patch brings, I hope Codemasters can fix this but for now I find it undriveable.

Shame my old MS Sidewinder Wheel isn't on the list for the PC. It almost works but is ultra sensitive and I can't access any fine tuning to set dead zones etc - although it seems like people with supported wheels are having the same problems. I have the 2011 version of the game which works for the wheel just fine and I recklessly assumed that they would retain the same sorts of options. Given the reports people are making here I'm not sure if buying a new wheel would be a case of throwing good money after bad, until a few more patches are released anyway.

Is anyone using the Thrustmaster T100 wheel on the F1 2015 PC version?
It worked fine on F1 2014 but the  F1 2015 won't even start up when the T100 is connected.
When I connect it afterwards, the game also crashes (steam error 41)

Help please

EXTREMELY SERIOUS ISSUE WITH THE X360 GAMEPAD ON PC. TOTALLY UNPLAYABLE AFTER WRONG KEY RESPONDING IN MENUS AND INSIDE RACE. PLZ FIX IT.
Try turning the controller on once you get into the menu, not before you launch the game. Worked for me.
Can you turn it off without un-plugging it from your computer?

I´m using this controller but there is no on/off button on it

Worked but a bug is a bug when the controller isn't available when plugged in before starting the game. CM MUST GIVE OUT A FIX. On the other hand no adjustment for saturations and deadzones for gamepad is another annoying point as well.

After taking a gamble the SRW-S1 is supported which was a relief but navigating through the menus and choosing options is a nightmare. I chose custom to set up additional buttons I can race OK but accessing certain menus is just complete guesswork, the game assumes I have an Xbox controller for some reason.
Whatt??? My SRW-S1 doesnt work good. It has massive understeer and time delay when I move it.

That's funny, I have a Thrustmaster T100 and most games see it as the Thrustmaster Ferrari F430.
Your game doesn't crash when your wheel is connected?
The only problem with F1 2015 is, when I have the wheel connected the game won't start up. If i connect it after staring up, the game also crashes.

I also have the PC version.

In reply to GroenB24's question about keyboard vs controller and wheel setups.  My disability makes using a Wheel system impossible except when customized with hand controls for brake and throttle and requires auto-transmissions.  Too expensive!  And as for using the keyboard alone, I find it to be about the worst means of handling a car sim of any kind!  You can use any number of XBox 360 type controllers on a PC too, but I find steering with my thumb almost as bad as using a keynoard.  So I use a Thrustmaster T.16000M flight controller which provides good, steady, repeatable X axis handling for steering, and Y axis handling of throttle and brakes, leaving plenty of buttons for all other needed controls including the handbrake.  Lately however I've found that pushing the stick foreward on the Y axis though great for the throttle does not provide good braking abilities at the same time and so have set one of the stick's base buttons that my left-hand thumb lies naturally on to the brake.  This has lowered my lap times considerably!  And I've also been considering putting a restraint upon the entire Y axis, in both directions so as to make the Y axis used for steering tighter and preventing any side slip of my wrist and using the Trigger button for throttle, but being all button controls are basically on/off switches this will lose some of the value that analog control provides for the throttle when set to the axis control.  I don't find this a problem in braking but I've not yet experimented to see how it might affect throttle use.

After the second update the game crashes indeed. I resolved it yesterday by plugging in the wheel after the game started. Not sure if it is a perm solution reading that this does not work for you. I will try again later.

:@LiteralZero

Has Motion control been enabled for the PS4 controller/pad. I heard that it's in P Cars and Drive Club and works very well. If it hasn't please enable it soon.

Hey mate!
as long as you use full traction control, you'll be just perfectly fine. Last night I was testing a few things and was too lazy to set up my wheel so i did a few laps on keyboard - almost same laptimes. Without tc or medium tc it'll be impossible to reach the finish line.
but as i postet in another thread i think the tc is way too overpowered as it is right now. in my eyes, there should be no difference in using full-tc and a flawless non-tc-lap in terms of laptime (and if there should be a difference then towards a non-aid-driver). but right now, with full tc I am easily(!) beating legend by even lapping half of the ai, when my usual skills throughout the series are about "hard" (depending on track) while having a lot of fun racing at my personal limits.

Can you explain WHY Logitech Driving Force GT or G27 is not supported on PS4?

That's a long story you can find somewhere on this forum. It's a question of license from Sony and it's not Codemasters's fault.

to sum it up...
sony officially says, all peripherals require a "security chip" for full functionality. and as an unofficial information during a telephone call with a logitech-employee i heard sony had become "greedy"... so negotiations during ps4 development got stuck and the guys never came back to the table.
but as the "old" thrustmaster wheels do definitely not have any special chip and are fully supported, the unofficial version sounds more likely - or at least it answers some questions.
also possible sony was looking for some exclusive partner - at least for the beginning which would lead to a win-win-situation. that would explain why the old tm wheels got drivers without any "chip" and now as some deal might have run out, further manufacturers were added (venom hurricane, and as i heard fanatec).
however there's a workaround for any problem in this world... try amazon-ing cronusMAX...  and google should answer any further questions.

Any word of the FFB being looked into with regards to fixes and/or improvements?.  I've read a number of issues with various wheels but I'm thinking specifically about the DFGT + PC.  Next to no FFB on default settings and I'm not a fan of using the spring cantering option to make it more playable.....any properly programmed FFB effects should take care of that naturally.

thanks

Please will you provide support for Simeraceway SRW-S1 wheel. At the moment the steering is extremely sluggish at high speed, but fine at low speed. The wheel worked brilliantly with F12014.

They need to fix all the 'supported' wheels first.  Get in line there ! ;)

Anybody having troubles with the PS4 controller? I'm having a great deal of difficulty trying to steer and keeping it on the track in turns, hairpins etc. Never had an issue with the other games  in the series. Very frustrating, can anybody give some advice what I can do.

I'm using the Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel since F1 2010 to 2014 without any problems. Also now the Wheel is detected by the game and I can use it in the Menu and configure all buttons. But when I want to start a Race the loading screen freezes and the game crashes. No problem with detached wheel from the computer but I don't want to play with mouse and keyboard as the wheel is supported officially. Any ideas?
