F1 2015 Supported Wheels and Controllers

Recommended Posts

Hi,
I am using PC and I bought Logitech Force Feedback GT just before the release of the new game. It was a massive change in 2014 game compared to the old wheel (logitech gt or something old...) anyway. With the new physics in 2015 I expected it to be more realistic..driving, accelerating, braking, FFB... but so far I have FAILED to set the wheel and pedals to be able to drive normally... Accelerating out of corners with MEDIUM TC still almost impossible.. tried many different settings in the game... impossible to get used to this new settings... undrivable... any sollution anyone?

hate to say it but wait/hope for a patch.  Codemasters are normally the one I can rely on for decent/solid out-the-box wheel handling, and not having to chase settings.  Its just plain broke right now (dfgt - pc).

I have a G27 on PC and after booting up my computer and going into the game for the first time or if  I go into the game after a PC restart, whatever I pick, Quick Race, Championship etc, my car is completely uncontrollable and pulling to the left. this can go on for a couple of turns, a couple of laps, or even longer before correcting itself. I then exit to main menu and pick up on where I left off  the last time I played. This is a permanent bug in this game, that I have to go through every bl**dy time I start or restart my computer and continue my racing.

I have verified and reverified the integrity of my game cache a gazillion times, deleted and recreated my wheel profile in the profiler numerous times, uninstalled and reinstalled the profiler as many times, created a new in game settings profile twice as many times, but still this bull***t persists. If this was not one of so many problems and omissions in this game from an outfit with an already notorious track record (no pun intended), I would patiently wait in the knowledge that this will be fixed. As it stands, I am comparing the chances to a snowball in hell.

Am I pissed off? You bet. Will I ever buy another CM game again if they don't fix F1 2015? Not on your bl**dy life!

Anyone here got a Mad Catz Xbox One Wheel?  Apparently F1 2015 is compatible, but im having major issues with throttle and brakes sensitivity.
Basically the is full throttle or nothing, and under braking its literally impossible not to lock up.
I have tried every imaginable combination of settings.  I have updated and reset my wheel as I initially thought it suddenly is was faulty.
The wheel and  pedals work perfect in Project Cars (not a stab btw).

Please check the video below, scroll to 11.30.  I realise this is a different wheel but this is exactly the same issues im having.

So many comments  but I don't understand yet if the g920 it's working or not with F1 2015 with my xbox one or there's a codemaster mistake
Its supported, but id imagine you'll experience the same issues seen in this video if you get it, scroll to 11.30.

does anyone have any idea how we can use a headset if your wheel doesnt have an input other than connecting it to a controller? So often I find my control switches from wheel to controller and it's a real marathon effort to get it back to the wheel again, usually involving a restart and lots of time.

Surely there is a wireless headset like there used to be with the 360 but I cant find one that doesnt need something connected to a controller!

Looks like I finally got to retire my very old Microsoft Force feed back wheel it works but with very little force feed back which results in missing getting the car Straight.
hope fully the cheap Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience I ordered fares better http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=as_sl_pd_tf_sb_27?tag=logitcomserwa-21&link_code=wsw&_encoding=UTF-8&search-alias=aps&field-keywords=Thrustmaster+Ferrari+GT+Experience&Submit.x=4&Submit.y=9&Submit=Go
any one got one of these and tried it with F1 2015 yet ?

Please will you provide support for Simeraceway SRW-S1 wheel. At the moment the steering is extremely sluggish at high speed, but fine at low speed. The wheel worked brilliantly with F12014.

They need to fix all the 'supported' wheels first.  Get in line there ! ;)
As far as I can tell it is supported, the wheel appears in game for instance when you plug it in so give Mullzer his place back.

As for the SRW-S1 after this latest patch it is near unplayable. there is 'no feel' for the driving at all it feels way to light. You are constantly adjusting steering just to keep going straight. Only wished I got this game on the PS4 and not through Steam as I could of part exchanged it for something else!

No g27 support.  This is bullsh@@t .
Game out now ps4.  G29 out September/October here in aust.  Have 2 perfectly fine g27 setups on obutto rigs. And u (codemasters want me to play a driving game with a pad. No way.)  Why should I be forced to buy an inferior wheel with no shifter for more money. Or even spend money on thrustmaster t500rs.  Fix this . Never thought codemasters would do this to loyal customers.  Think of the sheer number of people who have g25/27 wheels.

Not Codemasters' fault. Blame Logitech and Sony, the G27 doesn't work in any games on PS4. If I was you, I'd get a Thrustmaster T300. I got one from overseas to replace my G27, for about $400 AUD delivered. It's so much better than the G27/G29.

wow are you serious? npo g7 support? so I need to buy a new wheel, hmm... mayb i'll have a look at the t300, want one with 2 pedals

Anybody having troubles with the PS4 controller? I'm having a great deal of difficulty trying to steer and keeping it on the track in turns, hairpins etc. Never had an issue with the other games  in the series. Very frustrating, can anybody give some advice what I can do.

Really concerned with the reported pedal issues with most wheels with this game. It's a shame I'm really enjoying it with the PS4 controller , maybe I should cancel my order for the g29 :(

So patches fixed some things I guess. I am using Logitech driving force GT wheel on PC and I think there is still room for improvement inside the game. Force feedback is not strong enoguh (like in 2014 game). The cars in this game like to oversteer quite often... so the wheel should give you the feedback when the car does that...there is a force on the steering wheel when the rear of the car starts sliding... Force feedback should be improved. Anyone else think the same way?
Would be nice to have that in the next patch.

Far as I,m concerned, the controller support in this game is still since day one, about as useful as a set of handlebars with a bell.
