FluxCapacitance
I like your display Evader. After battling since release, I just got my custom RPM display (LEDs) and gear position display (7 segment display) running last night on DR. When the Rallycross pack comes out, I'll be installing a lap counter. There's a load of info that gets sent out by the Dirt Rally UDP. Would be cool to make a processing app that logs suspension data for setups.
jpneves
Actually, I do! It's quite normal, but it's quite fun too! I did it myself, with a lot of pacience, some math skill and about €30.
bogani
So I have been looking for a rig for some time. Had my eyes on rSeat but they are really expensive . Today I saw another rig on ebay that I have never heard of before. It looks quite nice and the price seems fair, however, it's only written in spanish. I have no idea how trustworthy it is. If any spanish talking member can take a look I would be thankful :)http://www.ebay.com/itm/Playseat-ASR-Exotic-semibaquet-/281677966151?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_186&hash=item419550ab47
MBColin
No problem bogani, here is your traslation (more or less) of the description of the product:"AsturSimRace Driving Simulator (ASR with Semi bacquet)"NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE: LOGITECH EQUIPMENT Made in freeze-galvanized iron, it has a lot of regulations, which made it a cockpit suitable for taller men, and for boys 8 years old too. It has support for gearboxes, and support for wheel with regulation in all positions (High, down, near...) Imprimation is been aplied to the chassis, and over this, dual-component paint high strength. At least we put in high quality vinyls, with high strength to water and sun. -If you have in mind your own design, you can do it.-Make your own chassis unique, with high quality vinyls. This is my approach of translation, I hope you understand what this advertisment tell us... :) Is an adverstiment of an enterprise which made cockpits on request, with seat included in price.I had an rSeat, at the end I'd sold it, but it was a great cockpit... Thanks Colin. Yeah the rSeat looks sturdy. The new RS1 is much more expensive than the older EVO model was though. I'm seriously thinking about trying the ASR Playseat I linked to. I like the shifter mount and how you can adjust it. My only concern it s that I never heard of the company before.I've also looked att the Fanatec CSL seat, but not sure. I've heard that the seat is a bit uncomfortable.
Evilsmurf
@bogani I got the Obutto ozone, it's a little more but it has a monitor stand and keyboard try built in so with a quick swing of the keyboard try I can be playing a FPS game. It doubles as a desk and is very comfortable also fully adjustable.https://www.obutto.eu/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=

The thing with the ASR Playseat I linked is that a custom design is included in the design. I'm thinking about tributin Colin McRae but I'm not sure if I should pick a blue/yellow scooby design or a white/blue/red ford focus design. The one presented on ebay has a sebastian ogier VW design.http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/wJUAAOxywh1TFRV-/$_3.JPG

fitbrit
Two G27s, one playseat, the other a Honda seat with full slide and recline. 120" screen, 1080p 2D projector. Woefully underpowered 1st gen i3 gaming/HTPC which will very soon be updated to something more recent. 14 speaker plus 12" sub in an 11.1 DTS: NEO-X surround system. gaski
That handbrake looks amazing! Just had a look on the DSD website and its almost $395 including postage to the EU. Little bit too expensive for me but it does look good fun to use
