Thrustmaster Wheel issues....

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone's encountered this one before. I'm using a Thrustmaster TX wheel on PC, and as shown in the linked video, I'm getting really bad steering inputs. kind of like my wheel is analogue steering, even though there isn't a mode for that. Gear shifts are hit and miss too, and the pedals also have a bit of a deadzone. Buttons work fine, but the wheel is undriveable now. the settings I'm using in the TM control panel are:

Rotation: 360 degrees
FFB Strength: 75%
Constant:100%
Periodic:100%
Spring:100%
Damper:0%
Auto Center: By the game

Firmware: 56.00
Driver: 2.10.10.0

In game calibration options are all at 0 (though I've had a fiddle, again to no avail)

I've even turned FFB off, and it's still off. I switched from a T80, which was completely fine.

If anyone has a solution, please let me know, as I've tried 3 F1 games, 2016-19 and it's the same result. I'm downloading PC2 as it's a new computer pretty much....

Thanks,

Nathan
