Spectator's HUD for replays

Recommended Posts

Hello Codemasters,

it would really be helpful if we would get a HUD for replays so we can see which lap the replay currently is in and who is leading the race and what the time gaps to all the other drivers were.

The spectators' HUD which is currently used for spectating an online race would make so much sense for replays in general (especially offline mode) to be able to keep track and to make the whole experience far more exciting.

Thank you 🙂

Yes indeed! Gutted to see that nothing has changed to the replay mode. Doing 100% races or even 50% races makes it awful to review the deciding moments of your race. I have to fast forward for around 10 minutes to replay just one overtake I did in the penultimate lap in Brazil on F1 2019. I'm not even going to bother using the replay on F1 2020, as it's just bad.

It’s not so much that it’s bad, more that it’s not changed much at all since 2011!

The irony that a game released in 2020 still uses the same functionality as a VCR is not lost on me 🙄

The spectator’s HUD would make so much sense for replays. We get all the info we need and can enjoy the full race replays.

Yup, posted the same. This would be a massive deal for me.

My Team sold me 2020, because when I read there was no update to replays, I almost wasn't going to bother.

Just to point out, booted up Grid 2019

It has timings, positions and track positions with a full map on its replays..

Grid!
