SomaticCoast375 46 Posted July 7 We should be able to invite friends to ranked. As we saw last game there was less people playing ranked because they couldn’t play with friends. Then we would have to make or find a unranked lobby where most people don’t drive clean resulting in less people playing online as a result. Worntoathread 865 Posted July 7 (edited) If you can freely invite friends to ranked, the safety rating would lose its purpose because all lobbies could get filled with invited D-ranked players. A possible solution could be the option to invite, but only get accepted in the lobby if your safety rating is equal with the lobby average or max. 1 lower. Kai2K 1 Posted July 8 (edited) I dont understand why some of you are against inviting friends to ranked lobbies. If implemented correctly there is nothing to worry about. Player with a higher safty rating can join friends with a lower rating if they want to. And most of the time i spent in F1 2018 me and my friends had the most fun in ranked and it worked great!! (there were dirty drivers from time to time i agree but that Was because there were no mechanisms for preventing dirty drivers to join serious lobbies) I would Like to know from you guys why you think that ranked would be unplayable if codemasters would implement that Feature the right way. I think ranked would be much more Alive and a lot of people who left f1 because of this would return.
