Heusinkveld Sprint Pedals unable to map

Recommended Posts

As per the title, I am unable to map the HE Sprint Pedals in game. The game throws up some sort of error specifically mentioning that you have to set up a custom profile to use them but I am unable to do that.

Can anybody help?

Wheel base is a Fanatec DD2 and the wheel rim is the Fanatec F1 2020 Limited Edition.

Hey @ragequit1,

I've managed to sort the issue. For whatever reason, the first time I tried to set up a custom map the accelerator and brake didn't work after many attempts, in fact, the profile didn't even show the Sprint pedals, just 'Podium Wheel Base DD2' and so I came on here.

So, I deleted the custom profile, then created a new one via duplicate of an existing Podium Wheel Base DD2 scheme and then deleted both the wheel and pedal axis and then set them up via manual calibration. Now it works as it should and 'Podium Wheel Base DD2, Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint' is showing under the scheme name. I think the reason it didn't work the first time is because I didn't delete the axes in calibration and recalibrate.

Hopefully this helps someone facing a similar situation.

Thanks for paying me a little attention, @ragequit1. 🙂

More kudos to you for actually posting what works! It sounds like a workaround but at least Codemasters can test it (with their spare HE Sprints that they must have just lying around) 🙂

I’m having the same issue with my heusinkveld ultimate pedals. I cannot get the throttle or the brake to map no matter what I do.

I have a similar set up. DD1 with F1 wheel.

The profile shows the HE Ultimates but when I try and push the brake or throttle to map it, nothing registers.

I just tried what you said but unfortunately, nothing happens after I remap the steering and then try and map the pedals.

still nothing registers for throttle or brake.  This is frustrating 😞

Ok I was able to fix it for anyone that has this problem. You have to calibrate your pedals again using Diview.

That will make steam games recognize your pedals properly. If you have a 2 pedal setup like me (with no clutch pedal), you will have to set the throttle and brake pedal from inside the wheel control set up (not the heusinkveld pedal profile) because the pedal profile will not allow you to save just the throttle and brake by itself

How do you calibrate your pedals in DiView? Thanks

I have a BJ Simracing GT STEEL crankset, it works with DiView like all Heusinkvelds.
I am in the same problem as you.

One moment Codemaster should move his ass.
Impossible to adjust my pedal, and when by a miracle I manage to do it, it does not work the next time the game is launched or even worse by starting a race.

Damn there is no problem with Dirt Rally 2.0, but a newer game cannot be played in peace.

Do something please it gets really painful.
