Must be signed into Xbox Live

1.       A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here.

When racing in multiplayer, everytime I reach a specific time period (I have noticed it is always around the 3rd lap) I will be disconnected from the race and the following message will occur: 'You must be signed in to Xbox Live. Make sure you're signed into an Xbox Live profile and your connection is OK.' This is consistent and only appears to happen to me when playing with friends.

2.       What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen)

Version 1.01 (Xbox One)

3.       Game-mode?

Unranked Multiplayer - I have also tested this with league races and it still occurs.

4.       What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too.

Occurs everytime without fail, no matter if I am hosting or joining someone else's lobby. I will race as normal and around the 3rd lap will be removed. I have attempted to play multiplayer on around 6-7 separate occasions since release.

5.       What troubleshooting have you attempted?

I have reset the game and console multiple times, reset the internet. I have also done speed tests on the Xbox and switched between Wired and Wireless (my default is wired) and the issue persists. The speed tests are displaying an average 560Mbps download, 36Mbps upload and 20 latency. Also believe it may be worth to mention I can play other multiplayer games without issue, including F1 2019.

6.       What peripherals are you are using

Xbox One Controller.

7.       Any screenshots or video of the issue?

Uploaded a screenshot of the message.

QUICK SOLUTION: Hold the Xbox one off button until it turns off.( You must turn it off this way, or it will not work ). Then, you have to go back into Battlefront and somthing should come up that says something like, not linked to your EA account, it should have 2 buttons under that message: Relink and cancel(something like that). CLICK RELINK!!! That should work, if not......

Check your Multiplayer settings (Firewalls, NAT Type, Wired/Wireless etc)

NAT Type is Open and it is a wired connection, I don't think there should be anything blocking it within my Firewall.

Might be worth a look. Also, do you have multiple profiles on your Xbox

I'm not 100% sure how to look through the network firewall settings, but I know that I haven't messed with any port forwarding/blocking, and the previous F1 games are working fine.

I do have multiple profiles on the Xbox, my main account which the game is purchased on, and a secondary account.

So I've done a few more tests related to this, I can confirm that when trying the different account it continues to remove me on the 3rd lap consistently.

I have also noted that I can sit in the game lobby (before the race) for 20 minutes (I didn't test any longer than this) and I didn't get kicked, but as soon as I went into the race, on the 3rd lap I had the notification pop up and was then removed from the game.

So, there is only one thing I have found to give me some playtime - which is resetting the internet.

But this only works for a few races and then it kicks back into effect, and I for one, cannot be bothered to reset my internet everytime.

I have contacted my ISP and Xbox and both parties have confirmed there is nothing on their end to cause this.

Xbox has informed me that I am able to refund the game due to this problem, so all I can advise is that the option is there if you guys continue having this problem and cannot be bothered to deal with being ignored anymore too - because this thread hasn't been replied to since the first communication.

This big is annoying.  I can't get 3 laps done.  Codemasters must fix it asap.  I always get kicked out after 3 to 5 laps saying I must connect to my Xbox Live account...  never happened to me on F1 2019

This issue is still active and consistent. Same thing happens and there’s no way around it. It will affect some leagues I race in.

it is a little bit to much to explain it proberly.

just google xbox one change nat type to open and you find a step by step explanation.

but first check on your xbox -> Settings -> networksettings -> on the right side you can see your "Nat-Type"

the Nat-Type must saying "NAT-Type: open"
