Sim or Arcade?

Simple question. list all the racing games you've played over the years and devide them into Sim or Arcade.  I'm  a bit scared to start and I don't have enough time right now but just to get started.

Sim, Hard driving / indianapolis 500

Arcade, Sega rally / Ridge racer.

Sorry for lame start. I will update my list tomorrow.

Then someone says "simcade" and it's even more confusing :-D

It's all opinions though. I wish it was categorised as simulation = simulating something real and arcade = checkpoints/timers/no damage/fake cars+tracks... but it's not that simple...

why does everything have to be put in a box

:)
It doesn't have to be put in a box. It's just your interpretation of it. Which is why I just gave 2 options. Granted some, and I dont blame them for put the 3rd option in them selfs.

As it is That only concretes my thought that Sim & Arcade more often than not theses days are very hard to tell part (put in a box)

Obviously you don't have to do it if you don't want.

That's kind of why I did it. Because  it's not always easy to split them.
