faldon3005 33 Posted July 8, 2020 Comparing to F1 2019, am I the only one who thinks the cars are understeering WAY too much?? I use the same thrusmaster t 300 and settings from 2019. I'm not saying this is a bug, just a perception, maybe closer to the real thing. But in order to make the turns confortably, I always have to put higher front wing angles. Nightfire1964 161 Posted July 8, 2020 (edited) Default setup is made to be understeery David greco in his Q&A talked about this basically its made like this as beginner's can deal with understeer more easily than oversteer also don't just change wing angles other parts of the car like diff can help reduce understeer Edited July 8, 2020 by Nightfire1964
kalamazoo123 290 Posted July 8, 2020 Yeah it’s pretty understeery to start with (especially in very slow speed corners), but you can dial it out with setup changes. Also you do need to adapt your style a bit from last year - can’t rely on abusing the downshifting to rotate the car anymore. Its a big improvement in my view. blodinho 0 Posted July 8, 2020 Taking advantage of the topic, which parts of the setup do I need to work on to reduce understeering?

Go to the pinned topic at the top, loads of useful stuff in there👍 Very short version... more front wing, less toe, stiffer rear springs and arb.
