ZirconAres 5 Posted July 12 In MyTeam I have just finished China in my 1st season, I have had 2 retirements in Each race from AI in which the Safety Car was brought out, all mechanical issues, AI parking up, instead of the VSC, the full Safety Car comes out, messing up the grid, the front teams pit at stupid teams meaning I have finished 10th 3 times in a row, but I don't feel happy because I didn't earn it, I feel like I was given an unfair free pitstop, where the AI were screwed over. I also don't know why the Safety Car is pulled out for every DNF and where the VSC is. I'm debating whether to turn the Safety Car off...simply as it is ruining my races...... ChristianAnsell 20 Posted July 12 I seen this as well also had annoying thing that I like to race full races for laps on career mode but have to save half way through race and come back later due to illness yet when I load up saved game, virtual safety car comes out every time and yes I tested it and happens every time on xbox1 version Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
marioho 686 Posted July 12 That is funny. Over on the F1 2020 forum here there is a topic on the first page complaining about the lack of SC, with the user only encountering VSC. And just yesterday I had the craziest French GP of my life. Wet qualy, dry race. Decided to risk a bad qualy by keeping my dry setup to put it out on the race. Got 19th on the grid, on the first lap I was battling for 8th, by the end of the third lap I was in 4th. There came in a SC and I was oblivious to the fact that my competitors both in front and behind me were nowhere to be seen... They were all on the pit lane. Mate, like 16 cars on the pit boxing for new tires! And by that point I was so ahead of the pit lane entry that the flashback function was of no help. They all made a free stop basically while I had yet to box. Came back on 21th when I pitted in the next lap and only managed to finish 18th. So yeah, I'm ok with the AI and SC.
