Race Spec F1 Esports - SEASON 3

Looking for a quality F1 league with clean racing? Season 3 of the Race Spec is launching on all platforms (XB1, PS4, PC) in August 2020. Check out the Season 3 Trailer below
 
 

Leagues available

Race Spec has racing 4 days a week starting in August. Join up to race in as many as you want to! Check out the Season 3 Race Schedule below for what leagues are on offer and when.
For a more detailed explanation of each league including race times, see the description of each league further down.

TUESDAY - F1 Regional Leagues (Europe/Americas/Pacific)
Assists allowed: ABS, Traction Control, Racing Line, Automatic Gears.

The Race Spec F1 Regional Leagues are popular Tuesday night leagues that are split into 3 regions and time zones running all platforms (PS4, XB1, PC). These are:

  • Euro Series: The Euro Series has multiple tiers on PS4 and Xbox, and for Season 3 we hope to have multiple tiers on PC for the first time as well.
    Race time: 8pm BST / 9pm CEST
  • Americas Series: The Americas Series has leagues on PS4 and Xbox, and for Season 3 we hope to have a league on PC for the first time as well.
    Race time: 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT
  • Pacific Series: The Pacific Series has multiple tiers on PS4 and for Season 3 we hope to have multiple tiers on Xbox for the first time, as well as build a competitive PC league.
    Race time: 8pm AEST / 10pm NZST
     
THURSDAY - F1 Classic Series (Europe/Americas/Pacific)
Assists allowed: ABS, Traction Control, Racing Line, Automatic Gears.
After a break for Season 2, the Race Spec F1 Classic Series makes its return for Season 3 on the new race day of Thursday night. Like the Regional Leagues, the Classic Series will be split into 3 regions and time zones - Euro, Americas and Pacific. The race times for each region will be voted on by the drivers on each platform.
 
FRIDAY - F2 Sprint Series (Europe/Americas/Pacific)
Assists allowed: ABS, Traction Control, Racing Line, Automatic Gears.
After its popularity in Season 2, the Race Spec F2 Sprint Series returns on Friday nights for Season 3. Like the Regional Leagues and Classic Series, these too will split into 3 regions and time zones - Euro, Americas and Pacific. The race times for each region will be voted on by the drivers on each platform.
 
SUNDAY - F1 Global Leagues
The F1 Global Leagues are where drivers from all over the world come to race on a Sunday. There are two different types of Global Leagues that cater for different levels of ability and assists. These are:
  • Global Series: Allows drivers to use assists and has multiple tiers on PS4, a Xbox league and for Season 3 we hope to have a PC Global Series for the first time.
    Assists allowed: ABS, Traction Control, Racing Line, Automatic Gears.
    Race times:
    UK - 10:00AM and 11:30AM BST
    Europe - 11:00AM and 12:30PM CEST
    Australia - 7:00PM and 8:30PM AEST
    USA - 4:30AM and 6:30AM EDT
  • Elite Series (racing-line only leagues): The Elite Series limits racing line as the only assists available to drivers. The Elite Series has previously only been available on PS4, but for Season 3 we are aiming to have an Elite Series on Xbox and PC for the first time, as well as add a second tier on PS4 for even more competitive racing. Join the quality field of drivers racing in the Elite Series.
    Assists allowed: Racing Line.
    Race times:
    UK - 10:00AM and 11:30AM BST
    Europe - 11:00AM and 12:30PM CEST
    Australia - 7:00PM and 8:30PM AEST
    USA - 4:30AM and 6:30AM EDT

Race format

All Race Spec F1 leagues are 50% race format with short qualifying (18 minutes), strict corner cutting and dynamic weather.
The F2 Sprint Series has one-shot qualifying and 50% Feature and Sprint races.

Season 3 key dates

📅 31 July 2020: Pre-season sign-up deadline.

📅 4 August 2020: Pre-season evaluation week

📅 7 August 2020: Round 1 sign-up deadline.

📅 9 August 2020: Season 3 driver line-ups announced

📅 11 August 2020: SEASON 3 Race Week 1

The Squad Championship returns - The BIGGEST cross-platform team championship in F1 Esports!
  • Every driver who competes in Season 3 of the Regional Leagues will be allocated to one of the ten F1 constructor Squads to drive for them for the whole season. Changing Squads is not an option!
  • The points scoring drivers for each Squad every round will have their points added to the Squad Championship.
  • A running total of points for the Squad Championship will be kept to see which Squad is on top after each round.
  • Drivers will be allocated to Squads via their team preference submitted through the sign up form.

SEASON 3 Pre-season Evaluation Round starts next week!!

The Season 3 Pre-Season evaluation week begins the week of the 4 August 2020. Races will be at the same day as the series you sign up for.

To be involved with in the pre-season evaluation races make sure you sign-up by the deadline of 31 July! The key dates for Season 3 are below:

📅 31 July 2020: Pre-season sign-up deadline.

📅 4 August 2020: Pre-season evaluation week

📅 7 August 2020: Round 1 sign-up deadline.

📅 9 August 2020: Season 3 driver line-ups announced

📅 11 August 2020: SEASON 3 Race Week 1

SEASON 3 SIGN-UP CLOSES TODAY!!

Today (Friday 7 August) is the last day to sign-up for Season 3 before Round 1 at Australia next week. Join us today to sign-up! 

Over the weekend we will be adding any last minute sign-ups and doing the final driver placements for the Regional Leagues which will be announced on Sunday, and Round 1 is only 4 days away on Tuesday.

The Global Leagues have pre-season on Sunday, and the final driver placements for the Global Leagues will likely be announced on Thursday or Friday next week.

We've had nearly 500 drivers sign-up for Season 3 across all platforms and regions which is just insane.

But if you're yet to sign-up then today is your last chance to get a seat to be involved in Round 1.
