Best Wheel for XBox One.

Recommended Posts

Exactly what it says on the tin. What is the best wheel available for the XBox One. Is it worth waiting untill the Logitech G290 becomes available or is the Thrustmaster TX the better option?

Apparently Thrustmaster Wheels Are Meant To Be Good On F1 2015, But I Don't Know About Other Games, I'm Only Going On What I've Heard As I'm A PS4 Player!, Best Thing To Do Is To Search Youtube For The Wheels Available And See What Reviews They Get!. Anthony

Thrustmaster TX is the way to go. The belt driven, brushless servo motor technology beats the G920 and Mad Catz helical gearing mechanism hands down. The Force Feedback of the TX is far better and this was even pointed out by Codemasters themselves. Thrustmatser and Fanatec wheels were the primary wheels of choice in development of the new FFB system in F1 2015. You may need to upgrade to a set of T3PA pedals though as the stock ones that come with the TX aren't very good.

Have a look at Inside Sim Racing on YouTube. They've done some great reviews of all different types of wheels, and it was clear that the best option for Xbox One was the TX, unless you wanted to get a Fanatec CSW V2, which is very expensive.

I use the Madcatz wheel for Xbox One. Brilliant wheel used on Forza and Project Cars.

I've bought the t300, if the tx has the same pedal set then checkout the sim racing video on you tube that show's you a cheap mod for the pedals that give's them progression on the brake pedal.

I've got the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 wheel and it's worked great for me on Forza and when I played PCars. It's the only one I've used though so I can't compare it to others, could well be better ones out there (I'm guessing the hugely expensive ones are the best ones) but it's worked well so far.

The TX is a great wheel, but I had bad luck as I went through 2 in a month, then gave up and got a refund. FFB is top notch though, and it's belt driven rather than gears, so has better feeling compared to a Logitch wheel. At the moment I only have a Thrustmaster T500rs which I obviously can't use on Xbox, but I mainly play on PC anyway. When Forza 6 comes out I'll probably buy a wheel for X1. If you get the TX, you can then but addon rims, the F1 rim is awesome ;)

TM tx has very good feedback in this game. However, if you get t3pa pedals you have to remove the conical mod!! There is no way to set the brake throw distance like in forza or pcars..

Rule of thumb. Never, ever, ever get madcatz. Also. If you invest in a wheel, never get one without forcefeedback, such a waste of money to have a piece of plastic that you cant feel anything on.

Thrustmaster tx is the best ffb wheel base on the market atm. Can use numerous different wheels if you want something other than stock one. Also, wheelstandpro is great for a stand. Can fold up for storage.

Yeah if you play on ps4 you NEED a wheel. No rumble in throttle/brake triggers? So bad. But what real racing fan doesnt play king of production car games forzaaaaa
