NoahBeck 0 Posted July 15 So since 2016 the first right-left chicane in Singapore is not the same as in real life. Yes Codemasters did an incredible job to present another superb F1 Game. But why are some Kerbs, track limits and details just not like the real ones? Why can’t you just build everything as you know and see it from the TV Broadcasts. RFactor 2 did an amazing job when they set the Graphics up to host the virtual 24h. They just took the settings of the real TV cameras and set them up where they stand in real life. The major part to be upgraded in your Game are for sure the Track details and track evolution in terms of rubber and marbles and the chassis roll. And more tyre deformation when turning like iracing and rf2 do have. Thanks for developing further. Its fun to play...
P3P70™ | 1969 - [NL] 3 Posted July 16 Correct me if i am wrong but i have heard that the tracks are not laser scanned for the game ?
NoahBeck 0 Posted July 16 You are right. I think Zandvoort is their only and first laser scanned track.
MisterJesus 15 Posted July 16 I’m guessing they take some liberties for playability. Hanoi feels too narrow but I’m not sure if that’s my imagination or not
NoahBeck 0 Posted July 16 Good point. May be possible. But wouldn’t the chicane in Singapore be easier the real way?

senna94f1 239 Posted July 19 TBH Zandvort track I absolutely love on ACC on ps4 and on The original Assetto corsa on steam for my 🖥 PC. But I love f12020. But the Zandvort track lacking FFB DETAILS ON MY t300 ps4 and the track has hardly any tyre marks in the braking zones. A few laps and it gets quite boring. Compare that to ACC at Zandvort and you can't get enough of driving on the track. Then you go to another track on f12020 and you see all the details like tyre rubber skid marks and it seems better ffb. Thats why I was surprised to see someone saying its lazer scanned.. KRLseVen 0 Posted July 19 France was laser scanned last year as well. But yeah track realism is a major flaw of the game. Singapore, Spa and Canada are just some examples coming to mind. They are working on it tho, we've seen a lot of improvements in this years game.
