EGorges 0 Posted November 1, 2020 The app looks very promising! The kind of graphs I feel Codemasters could include in the game. I couldn't make it work on a Mac OS, installed the 2019 1.5 version. Besides tcpdump gives me lots of: 17:46:22.792550 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 1143 17:46:22.793865 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 843 17:46:22.795839 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 1343 17:46:22.797784 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 1347 17:46:22.799499 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 1143 17:46:22.800786 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 843 17:46:22.802639 IP 192.168.0.27.57344 > 192.168.0.255.20777: UDP, length 1343 Also tried inserting PXG in the Firewall to receive connection requests (besides I think it's not related). Any clues?

Any clues? Sorry, I don't have any clues. It works perfectly fine on macOS for me. Did you follow the quick instructions ? Try checking your in game telemetry settings or your local network connection. Or maybe it's your firewall which block the connection or do you have another UDP app opened ? Ender0042 21 Posted November 3, 2020 Hi everyone, I just released the version 2.2. There are two major new features in this update : Trajectories comparison, you can now compare the exact trajectory between multiple laps / drivers on a single turn or on the whole lap A cursor to display & compare the values at a given position You can download it at the usual place : https://bitbucket.org/Fiingon/pxg-f1-telemetry/downloads/

jvdgoot 0 Posted November 3, 2020 (edited) I tried to download the macOS version and it crashes on launch? Previous versions worked perfectly. Also I can't help but notice that the filesize has shrunk in half. UPDATE: downgrading back to 2.1 makes it work again, so there is something specific to the 2.2 release. Indeed, I uploaded an incomplete version. It is fixed now. Thanks for reporting.
Nuvolarix 56 Posted November 4, 2020 Hi @Ender0042, first of all congrats for your awesome application, I do not understand how to watch the "track position", could you explain it? I was analyzing 2 laps in TT but I see only a red circle in the center... Thank you in advance, Nuv

It usually happens if you try to load data recorded with a previous version. You must record new laps to use this feature.

Nuvolarix 56 Posted November 4, 2020 Hi again @Ender0042, a couple of questions if possible... what's the balance value here? Is it possible to register the telemetry of a ghost in Time Trial? I find the name of the (ghost) player in the "Tracking" panel and I can choose it, but after running a whole lap with the ghost, it looks it doesn't register it, am I doing anything wrong? Thank you :-) Cheers, Nuv

Thank you 🙂 Cheers, Nuv The balance value, is an indicator to tell if your car understeer or oversteer. Negative mean understeer, positive means oversteer. The value here is the sum for the whole lap. A telemetry variable is available to see how the car behave in each part of the track. But be aware, it depends on your setup but also on your driving, so it's quite difficult to interpret. For your 2nd question, no it's not possible to track the ghosts in time trial, because the data is not available. This is something in the hands of Codemasters to make it works. Wow, this is very very interesting, with the graphics of each part of the track! Yeah, this of course had it's quite difficult to interpret but it gives elements to study... For example the top 10 laps with that setup (I'm in Bahrain BTW) go from -0,19 to -0,29... the setup is quite a bit oversteering somewhere, but obviously I try to get the pro and avoid the cons and that -0,29 was the fastest lap... Thank you again
QmanXV 10 Posted November 6, 2020 Hi Ender thanks for your ongoing improvement on this app. I’m sure I saw something in changelog about player’s names now being capture in multiplayer races is this correct as my copy continues to show ‘player 0 (generic mp car)’

It is still not possible to get the full player names in multiplayer races.
Shorti62 5 Posted November 6, 2020 Anyone else has experienced that only 1 stint gets recorded? I did practice in unranked, did 2 stints, but only first one was recorded.. I saw that yesterday too, but was problem that somebody joined the lobby, and left, which can cause this.. But today i was in lobby alone. It takes too much time to create new lobby for every stint. Did it used to capture the user-player's name, as the user is now also only identified as a player and a number. Second thing is, the file names (left) and race data files are differentiated, though the player in the selection and race data panes are still showing as player rather than player #. GDB 0 Posted November 28, 2020 I can see that my laps are being tracked but where do i have to go to get the data to populate. nothing appears in my dashboard??
chicogois 0 Posted December 14, 2020 Hello Ender. I really enjoyed your work, but I would like a next update to put the tracks with short strokes like Bahrain for example. In a way it is difficult to analyze telemetry. Really excellent work. Regards, Chico

I Would to like to ask you how and where i can get those JSON files? Is there a way to be especific about the data i want to collect it, like i just would like to grab online races qualy/results with position, startgrid, final time, penalties, tyres... is this possible? Also in the future if it is possible, there's a way to separate the track map from the other menus? I really would love to watch my dot in the track while scrolling the speed, brake and throtle for example instead have to change window everytime. You can generate JSON files by right-clicking on an opened lap, stint or race and selecting the "Export to JSON" option. Other people already have suggested to separate the track map from the other graphs. I'm thinking about it.
jvdgoot 0 Posted 6 hours ago I want to start by saying that I absolutely love the app, and it has tremendously increased my enjoyment of playing the game. I'm just wondering if it would be possible to include all lap times when I export the JSON of a stint? For me, so far, it seems to only export the time of the in-lap. I've got a wacky idea for an app that could do neat things with the JSON data, but I'd need to get all the lap times of a stint to do what I want to do. I mean, if it's not possible, that's totally fine -- everything else works great!

Could you send me your JSON file in a private message so I can investigate if there is a bug here ? If something is wrong, I'll definitely fix it in the next version.
