I thought as much! ;) - Thanks @LiteralZero for the information.

By the way, did you receive my question regarding the Saubers' steering wheel size...?

It needs resizing to that of real life, so if you could pass that on to the developers it would be appreciated, then they could amend this issue.

Thanks m8!

Your obsession with the steering wheels is extremely unhealthy...let it go mate, just let it go.

it bugs me also! what I don't get is why the sauber & lotus wheel are so badly scaled compared to other it just look awful and akward, while they did not seem to care about the Mercedes to get it right despite the hands going trough the cockpit.

cm please explain why this was not done properly for all the teams.

Same here, the lack on consistency is pretty irritating apart from the fact that we know that it is certainly wrong. Please fix the issue as the cockpit views are one of the most important elements for sim racers...

Any details on what version of the Manor car is included in the Patch?  Is it the sponsorless car they began with or is it the latest edition sponsored by Flex-Box (a very good looking car indeed!)

If it is the sponsorless car can we expect a further patch in the not so distant future?

It's not the latest liveried cars, They added it a week ago so not a lot of time to get those assets sorted.

We're discussing if and when we can get these implemented and how soon.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Hopefully they can be implemented.  Maybe worth introducing them after the summer break when Manor's 2015 car is released?

Got my copy (PS4) updated with the patch.

Few things I would like to see changed is being able to set up a season how you want, better tyre wear indicator and car status while driving
The tyre wear indicator and car status they said they ran out of time on and may possibly end up in a later patch. I know a lot of people will whine about that very non sim feature not making it in but I am sure you can still tell when your tyres are bad.
You can feel the tyre wear but it seems to go from good grip then you get a engineer message saying they can see some tyre wear in the data to finding it hard to keep it on the track. At least with a indicator you can judge when you are going to fall off the cliff and pit
i think there should have been a tyre wear indicator, ok its not very sim like , but this is a game and i think it should have been included, for those players that are not hard core sim racers, or maybe even an option to turn the indicator on /off.

Manor are not releasing a 2015 car anymore, that was stated by the team at Silverstone.

Another question, as there is no SC in 2015 and they are bring also 2014 as a gift, is there SC in 2014 or CM excluded as well?

Hey, LiteralZero,

I`ve got one question - the cars are updated (that is awesome and a positive aspect of the game) but will we get more car model upgrades, like a new nose of MP4-30 introduced in Austrian GP, and new liveries (like the Manor one or else)? Also will the Sauber C34, Lotus E23 and Force India's steering wheels be rescaled (they have incorrect sizes compared to their real life counterparts)?

I'm sure there are no features in 2014 that aren't in 2015. Just different cars, tracks and drivers.

Got a quick question, on PC can you still ask the exact same information as the consoles with voice recognition from your engineer using normal controls?

I do hope so. Ohterwise PC users would have a real disadvantage. But wouldn't surprise me if they simply forgot it.

oops already answered, sorry

In past games new noses have not been updated, so don't build your hopes up for it here either.

The Manor car has their old livery...
I think it's slightly unreasonable to expect it to be updated less than a week after it was first seen! It will have to go through approvals, let alone be designed into a future build. I wouldn't expect to see it for a few weeks/months.

Not on PC for much longer I bet...
guaranteed the sidepod will be a tiny little white part that is mirrored.

Has the patch fixed these:
01. Using the XBOX360 Gamepad, the default inputs are totally wrong. Pressing "B" (the red button) will have the same effect as pressing "A". So you're virtually stuck in a menu sometimes (having to resort to Keyboard).
02. When playing ingame, my steering wheel is tilted towards the right. There's no option in the game to tweak the controller offset? This means I'm unable to play the game at this moment...

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but here's what I've found in regards bugs so far.
im on the Playstation 4 version, using thrustmaster t300 f1 wheel.
And this is after the latest patch update.

1) erratic AI car behaviour when they get blue flagged and your trying to overtake, I've seen them far off track on the grass to avoid me!
or they slow down to a crawl and your in the back of them.
2) at the very start of a session, practice, qualifying or race there's no feedback strength on the wheel.  It feels really loose and car won't turn, until you get to say the first corner and then it kicks in and works.

3) this is the worst, mid race , in cockpit view,  and the whole game pauses for about 2 seconds then it resumes , but you've moved down the track.  It's exactly like lag on a video where it pauses and then runs in fast forward to catch up with itself.

I love over the game but I hope some of this can be ironed out in future patches.
