What is very obvious this year is the black screen before the race that takes an entirety without any indicator that the game is loading. Loading times are way longer than previous versions with no obvious reason. There is a topic of PS4 users with HDD and SSD noticing this as well Edit: @RedDevilKT I timed one of the modes for you Loading time for Spielberg circuit - 3 laps in Grand Prix: 47s 18ms I timed from clicking start session and stopped the timer when the F1 logo animation starts 2. Logitech G29 8. no UPDATE: 30 seconds black screen to start FP1 in my team at zandevort. Career mode 100% race distance. It takes between 15 to 30 seconds. Black screen with no sound like a power outage on every race. I have the same issue as stated above 1. + 30 sec. loading before every race. Edit: slow loading podium pass item images & and driver portraits. 2. Ps4 pro 3. 1.04 4. Championship and Grand Prix 5. Waiting times seem to be long also when entering to the race. Also I just opened the game and headed straight to the my team so game session was completely new. Here are the results: -Main menu -> workstation 40s -Workstation -> practice 1 15s -Practice 1 -> workstation 32s -Workstation -> Practice 2 13s -Practice 2 -> Workstation 37s -Workstation skipping Practice 3 and going to resource points gained screen 15s -Resource points gained screen -> Workstation 42s -Workstation -> Qualifying 18s -Qualifying -> Workstation 32s -Workstation -> Race intro 36s -Race intro -> to the cockpit on the grid 30s -Back to HQ after gaining resource points 20s -HQ -> Workstation 62s Report Code from settings: TSDC-EGGB-STMH-HBEG 2. Worthingtonio 12 Posted July 20 I don't have enough substantial data to assist any more here, other than an extreme anecdotal case I encountered similar to the above (if it helps at all) PS4 Pro, just a controller. My game was permanently loading Time Trial for the Hanoi Circuit a few days ago. I waited for over 5 minutes on the loading screen before giving up (and unfortunately starting work!). For reference, by loading screen I do not mean a black screen. The track image and title etc was on the screen, but the loading widget in the top left was never-ending. inspiretheworld 98 Posted July 24 (edited) It happens on all game modes for me on ps4. Dunno why you guys ask for silly information when there is clearly an issue. Being a pc owner I know loading times are down to not enough memory or harddrive speed. Seems to me the game hasn't been optimised very well for consoles causing the slow loading times.
