MFD is on wheel when using cockpit cam

Recommended Posts

Would really help with the immersion if the MFD was on the screen of the wheel if using cockpit cam.

I want to add: make the current fuel mix visible on the wheel display.
Currently only the ERS mode is visible, which now has much less value given the new ERS Management system in F1 2020. It's actually useless since you can't change it anymore in race and quali conditions.

My proposal: switch the ERS mode indicator with fuel management mode

Agree and disagree.

Agree that fuel on the wheel screen would be a great and very useful addition but disagree with removing ERS. I find it very useful knowing what battery I have left and also how much I have left to deploy per lap to strategize best use of the OT button. Imagine running cockpit and having no idea how much battery you have left? That needs to stay.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough but I just proposed to change the number meaning (the one besides the charge level), the battery and OT level must remain on the wheel display.

Oh sorry yeah fair enough. Although it would probably need to be there for practice and qualifying (you can change from none to Hotlap in qualy). For the race though, it makes sense in not really being needed.

The fuel mix is much needed though next to the fuel delta.

I hope not its bad enough for those like myself who use real FOV to see gears and revs as it is I have to use my ears to determine gear change and to use instinct to know which gear I am in as I can only seem bits of the wheel display.

An option great! Id also likw to see the tv pod hud available for cockpit players so we dont lose info for running a realistic fov.

Do you not have the gear change beep enabled? I always use it.
