Patch 1.05 - Messed up wheel controls

Recommended Posts

1.       When you start your practice program everything is fine BUT when you want to restart the program again my gas pedal is suddenly also a camera up pedal and brake pedal becomes suddenly an camera look down/behind pedal at the same time
2.       What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen)
3.       MyTeam Practice session
4.       4 times
5.       I can fix it in game but its not the way how it should be, restart practice program - drive with the glitch - use flashback - and then it works normally
6.      Thrustmaster TM open wheel with pro pedals
7.       2 videos, 1 before the glitch and 1 were the glitch happens

I’ve had this too. Brake pedal turns into look back aswell as brake for me. Also using thrustmaster but the f1 addon. It seems to me to be after using a controller to use the mfd. it also happens outside of practice programs.

Thank god im not the only one.

I tried unbinding both the pedals from "right stick up/down", both show now as unassigned, still experience this issue. So annoying when you press your inputs in preparation for resuming control of the car from a flashback and you end up looking at the sky... lovely.

@Wessel112002 I have this problem every races at every starts. It's like you are in your garage and you can look everywhere by your pedals. And when the lights go green, this bug stops

Same here, I’ve had the issue now and then as well. Really annoying because it’s impossible to drive

So, I'm having this strange bug that when I brake, the camera automatically looks behind, the same is happening with the steering wheel. The binds are correct, there is nothing on the binds that makes the brake look behind. The issue started after I play with the pad. Btw it is on Xbox and I can't find any solution, ty

Have exactly the same problem.
Xbox
Thrustmaster TMX
Brake = Look back
Wheel left = look left
Wheel right = look right

Unbinding buttons dont work.
Recalibration dont work
Creating new wheel setup dont work
Hard reset dont work.
UNPLAYABLE.

I’m also having this issue since the 1.05 patch! Never had it before this patch! I’ve literally tried everything! I’m now re-installing the game to see if that works

I’m on Thrustmaster TX

1.       Thrustmaster TX Wheel (Ferrari F1 Add on)
Brake = look back
Wheel left = look left
Wheel right = look right

2.       Xbox
3.       1.05 (Just installed the update)
4.       Online racing , Grand Prix, Time Trial, etc. All of them
5.       What are your replication numbers? Happening all the time
6.       What troubleshooting have you attempted?
Restarted wheel 5 times, restarted the game 3 times, tried every preset in the controls, tried unbinding ‘look behind and left/right’, tried my old wheel, tried 3 different pedal sets

This needs fixing right now, not in next patch! The game is unplayable.

[Xbox] Camera control is linked to the movement of the steering wheel

After installing patch 1.05, my steering wheel is attached to the camera. Whenever I turn the steering wheel sideways, the driver's view changes to the respective side. And the brake pedal always drives the camera backwards. I tried to modify the commands, without success. My steering wheel is the Thrustmaster Tx with the T3PA pedals.
