Unplayable with G920 after 1.05 patch

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

1.       A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here.

After the 1.05 patch, my Logitech G920 lost all Force Feedback and I have the 100% throttle problem again where the throttle is always at 100% and does not react to any input from the pedals.

This can be resolved by uninstalling and re-installing the Logitech G-Hub until the machine reboots. Since no other game has this problem I blame F1 2020.

I'm getting really really frustrated here, because it's more or less luck whether or not the game decides to recognize my wheel or not.

2.       What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen)

1.05

3.       Game-mode?

All

4.       What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too.

The wheel is not recognized after a system reboot. This can be fixed by removing the G-Hub and re-installing it. That was a permanent solution (at least for me with 1.04)

5.       What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue

Removing the G-Hub and re-installing it

6.       What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc)

Logitech G920

7.       Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.

N/A

I'm also getting this problem since the latest patch. It's really frustrating because its unplayable at the moment

We've done the following:

  • Uninstalled and reinstalled LG hub
  • Made changes to the Force feedback in the F1 game
  • Tested a mixture of cars/tracks
  • Updated drivers on hardware
  • removed all other USB adapters - Sparco handbrake and shifter
  • Swapped out steering wheel with another set (G920)
  • Swapped out PC with another one

All the above have not fixed the issue

Other Driving games are fine and work the same in the rig as they have always done.

I have a G920 and have no issue with throttle but my ff goes mental into tight breaking zones. It never used to do that on F1 2019 Xbox One but now it's an issue on F1 2020 PC.

Yep same issue started happening after recent 1.09 patch for me. The throttle stays at 100 in just the menu screen but in game it is fine. The symbol of the throttle has also changed (z-) and also my forcefeedback feels so light and feels inverted as if understeer has been swapped with oversteer. Any fixes yet? Also this only happens on f12020 not ac, acc or any other game.

Do you use Logitech G-Hub?

I had problem like this few months ago, had to use reg fix to make it work in F1, after few g-hub updates everything is working ok in f1.
