Paulavfc 0 Posted July 23 Hello, there are a few things I’ve found from playing F1 2020 for ps4, if it’s ok to list here save sending multiple messages. 1, pit window graphic does not show at Canada or America GP and AI does not pit at all at those two but all over tracks are fine. 2, I hit AI my car gets damaged but when they hit me they don’t get damage when they should. 3, I changed engine supplier at start of second season yet I saw no difference when surly I should have especially after paying more for it. 4, my second driver stats don’t seem to improve (or if they do they don’t show for whatever reason) when negotiating contract you see improvements but then when you view him his old stats show (surly you should see stats as they update). 5, lastly AI driver perks my second driver never seems to use them or upgrade his car. Hichel18 15 Posted July 23 1. I didn't pay attention to be honest, but seems fine on my end, will check too. 2. This one runs normal for me, simulation damage. I tend to lose more wings though lol. 3. Changing engine suppliers in second season for me meant the sound didn't change, but the performance gave a jump, had the third best engine of the field (From Honda to Renault). on the Selection screen the Honda had 90 Performance and Renault had 97, the same amount of Mercedes in my off-season. How was yours? Drag Reduction and weight might help feel the performance too 4. I didn't figure that out yet, but my 2nd driver ratings jumped from 68 to 77 between seasons, I don't know if that was by my intervention in training and team building or by their own merit. 5. My 2nd driver is yet to upgrade his perks too, maybe they need more money? I have no clue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Paulavfc 0 Posted July 23 Thank you for reply, yeah sounds the same but did feel better to be fair, I was kind of expecting the powerchain in the R&D section to change a bit though based on new engine but doesn’t seem like it does. Bloodwave 0 Posted July 23 (edited) Hello Concerning the second driver : - His base stats increase with the activities between two GP (G force for example) and are supposed to stay once the driver leave your team. I have kept the same teamate (De Vries) from the beginning. He is now pretty strong on track. - His bonus stats (the green column on the right) increase with your simulator facilities, it increases "artificially" its ranking in the driver board, but if you fire him, he will of course loose these bonus. - As for the perks, it is very unclear. I have just ended my third season and my second driver who hit acclaim level 16 finally received his first three purple perks just at the begining of the fourth season. The help menu is clear as socks juice : I understand you have to propose more money than the base salary during contract re-negociation in order to allow the second driver buy his perks, but I'm not 100% sure my understanding is correct cause nothing in the contract menu informs that your second driver will get perks if you select the green contract option (low risk). I tried anyway and it seemed to work but I cannot tell if it is a coincidence or not just because he hit a specific acclaim level. I have De Vries to at end of first season I renewed his contract all his stats had gone up but then after he signed his over all went up but his base stats when back down to the same as when I got him which is surly not right.
