ILRTDexDexter 10 Posted July 24 Hi Codies, I did a league race last night and the game just broke, because what I suspect is one players bad connection. But still these issues shouldn't be happening even if a driver has a bad connection. I can understand lag or desync, but not this. Again I suspect it must be something to do with him since everything but one issue is related to the same driver. 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. I get a 5 sec. penalty for a very light tap on another car before the SC came out. Seems a bit harsh since my car didn't get damage, and out league run simulation damage, so even light touches causes damage and this didn't. Then the main thing. I get blocked on my hotly by a car, where the driver has gone in the pits, but the game decides to let the car out..??? The driver told me he was in the pits and not in the car, and I know him so I believe it. Later on that same car is shown as he is sometimes one or two laps down in the race (he wasn't). Later on in the race I approach som cars and this driver (Whiteout) again, and his name isn't even on the graphics and he is shown to be P17 (which he wasn't), and then the game gives me blue flags when I am near him. Because I ignore the blue flags, I get a drive through. I wasn't lapped in any way, but I suspect it is him being in the games mind out of position, that gives me blue flags and drive through. Then when I want to take my drive through, the game pits me regularly, which caught me off guard, so I get my old tires fitted. Then the next lap I try to take my drive through and the game finally lets me take it. Also this same car enters the pit lane via the pit exit (the driver didn't, but the game showed this and almost made me call a code brown). See the other YT clip. All these things made my race a living nightmare, and this needs to be fixed ASAP for us league racers. 2. Platform PS4 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.05 4. Game-mode? Unranked league race 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. All this happened in one league race. Gonna do a lot of other league races during the season, but this is the only one so far with these issues and the only one with this driver, who normally have connections issues. Just feel like these connection issues can't cause all this mayhem. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Don't know what to do. 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Fanatec CSL Elite F1 setup 8. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. BarryBL 4,313 Posted July 24 Do you have: Host's connection details (so NAT Type, Wired/Wireless, area of the world compared to others) I ask as its been reported very rarely before, but this is our first check on things like this.
ILRTDexDexter 10 Posted July 24 I don’t expect this to be a problem on the hosts connection since he hosts regularly in our league, but I will get these informations. The guy who is “responsible” for blue flags, wrong way into the pits etc. normally have major connection issues, so he is normally very laggy on track, but we have never had this before. To me it seems like his connection issues broke the game. I wasn’t the only one who saw him entering the pits like that and I think others got blue flags as well, but I was the only one getting a drive through, since I battled him for position in a while. I will get back with connection type and NAT type.

Connection is wireless and it is NAT type 2. He lives in England where most of the guys from this league lives. The guy with the connection problems who I suspect “broke” the game in our league race also lives in England. I am myself from Denmark. My connection is wired and NAT type 2. 21 hours ago, BarryBL said: Do you have: Host's connection details (so NAT Type, Wired/Wireless, area of the world compared to others) I ask as its been reported very rarely before, but this is our first check on things like this. ILRTDexDexter 10 Posted August 2 @BarryBL You told me this was with developers, but case doesn’t seem to be updated with that.
SpringbokGamer 86 Posted August 3 We have had it now twice in our League Races, where someone with a slightly dodgy Internet Connection , holds up the whole lobby , you can see it by the circle spinning next to his name. The game will indefinatly be stuck in this loop, until the "Problem" Player leaves the Lobby. This only happens at the Transition Point , between Qualies and Formation Lap , and also when finishing your Strategy in MP whilst being parked on the Grid.
