LoubyLou 0 Posted July 25 Hi, we are new to Fanatec and have just ordered the "CSL Elite F1 Set - officially license for PS4". My son has just opened it for his birthday and wants to use it with his Xbox One and also PC. We have just opened it and now have doubts that we have bought the right one. The F1 steering wheel has the PS4 buttons on the top. We are now wondering if we were meant to press on a different configuration when we ordered the bundle. I have tried to ring Fanatec but they are closed at the weekend. My son would love to start using it, but we don't want to him to if he needs to send it back. Does the F1 shaped wheel not work with Xbox One? Should we have ordered a different Xbox One wheel? Please can anyone advise. Thanks so much. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SIMRACER123 355 Posted July 25 (edited) The Ps4 one works by pressing the button on the base unit to PC mode. Incidentally you need that mode to download the latest update for the wheel if it requires it. SIMRACER123 355 Posted July 25 Forgive me as im not overly familiar with xbox but if it says its xbox one ready it should be fine. I'm not sure if you have got to the stage of using the wheel yet but it may just be a case when its plugged into the xbox of pressing the button on the base to switch it across ( it may do it itself automatically, im not sure ) For example i use mine for Ps4 and iracing on the PC. LvcasSkywalker7 1 Posted July 26 The wheel base has the security to use on ps4 but to use it on xbox you need an xbox wheel which has the xbox security. So it all depends on what wheel you use with the base as to which system you play on.
