[Multiplayer] Getting kicked/disconnected from lobbies and can't rejoin back PS4

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

1.       A detailed description of the issue:

Whilst in a unranked lobby when spectating/racing, it kicks me with the lobby and I am not able to join back or see any invites from the F1 2020 game.  It says something about network, but I know the upload speed is absolutely fine. I could only rejoin the lobby if I restarted my PS4, and then again, it kicks me from the lobby every 5-10 mins.  It happened in a OneHubRacing race I was commentating on Friday, and also on a PSGL race I was commentating on today. I ended up being kicked from the lobby whilst I was streaming both races. I was streaming at the time, and when I was in the lobby, it was showing green bars at all times (even though I was streaming).  Today, I was kicked before the lobby started and at the end of qualifying.

2.       Platform  PS4
3.       What version of the game you are using?: 1.05
4.       Game-mode? Unranked Multiplayer lobby
5.       What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too.   5-6 times on Friday   and 4 times tonight.

6.       What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue. Do you have the latest drivers? Have you check your connectivity settings?

I closed the game to start with completely. Tried getting back into the lobby I was kicked from, it says cannot connect to server, so network features for this application unavailable. I know its not true, because my internet was absolutely fine. I was still connected in a PS4 party at this point.  I then restarted my PS4, went back into the lobby and it was fine after a certain period of time, but it kicked me again 15 mins later.

If it helps, my PS4 shows its a NAT Type 2, but it didn't cause trouble on the last game.

7.       Please provide a video recording of your game crashing so we can see where the issue occurs?]

See image attachments, and clip of when it happened.

Try moving to NAT type 1 and report back on your findings.
