MAH87143 10 Posted July 31 This was an issue in F1 2019 and you still haven’t fixed it in 2020. Wet weather is a natural fuel saving mode, slower, earlier braking, less acceleration. The entire “Fuel Saving” practice program is about coasting into braking zones, getting on the throttle later on exit and short shifting on upshifts. ALL of which are things you do in wet weather driving. Yet, as with 2019, I use twice as much fuel in wet conditions than I do in the dry.
TomEmilioDavies 22 Posted July 31 My guess is hat you use more fuel in the wet because you’re holding down the accelerator for longer both to get up to speed and to stay at speed as it takes longer to drive around the track. Its stupid, yeah.
Ultra3142 384 Posted July 31 There will be greater rolling resistance in the wet which in real-world normal driving increases fuel use. Fuel use in the game should still be lower in the wet though.
