Right well...Where to start...

Firstly, now I'm back since playing it for a few hours, I think the game is ****ing fantastic! - @Codemasters have really outdone themselves here! ;)

Admittedly, there are a few points that need work - Such as the AI; The abilities of the drivers are way out IMO, but its not that bad.

Secondly, Rosbergs steering wheel is the same as Hamiltons...I thought they were going to be driver specific...? (@LiteralZero)

Anyway, @PCARS4EVA2...

There's some kind of aura that's compelling me to answer you - not because of how I feel, but because of how you present yourself, and it radiates intelligence...which I find quite rare in most cases...

But anyway, regardless of what I think of you (which I might add I think you're great, and I haven't even met you), in regards to that thread I made, it does appear hypocritical. However, many things have changed since that time and although I was disheartened with F1 2014, this years iteration(up to now at least) is completely different!...and I am absolutely loving it!

And by the way, I was going to add some humour to my 'car park' comment yes, but not insulting - more of witty banter...;)

I wouldn't say the AI is substandard at all, the absolute opposite I would say...but the driver abilities need adjusting somewhat.

Your comment about the game being soulless is quite far fetched I think, and in all honesty, I honestly think that @Codemasters have something special in what this years game delivers - not just because its next-gen, but what may be coming in the near future! ;)

From looking on the forum, its plainly obvious that there are many people that are not happy with certain aspects of the game - even I am one of them (albeit minimal) - but I know CM will redeem themselves if people would give them a chance given this year is completely different...

All I can say is, for me personally, I am liking what I've seen and played so far, and if they stick to their word and produce further patches to improve this years iteration, then I have no doubts about what they are aiming for!

Well, at the minute I have Rfactor for those vintage tracks...although it would be nice to race them with Next-gen visuals :)

I know not many people would agree with me here but; the handling and physics in F1 2015 are far better than I expected to be honest, and the cars just 'feel' nicer to drive...but challenging.

And in relation to the setup of the cars, now that's a whole new ball game. I used one of my setups of the Mercedes from F1 2014 to try it, and needless to say, it was no way near what it should be!...which obviously cements the fact its definitely a new engine!

The only major gripe I have with it is the lack of practice sessions TBH; If those other 2 sessions were available, it would make it complete for me personally...

But to me the lack of practice sessions says that it's not that realistic, as you don't need so much time to find a decent setup.....

Actually, I am glad you've asked that...

I did start a 100% race at Melbourne initially in the McLaren, and I found it to be very tricky (although that could've been down to driving the McLaren).

It was raining really heavily and in qualifying, I managed to get 16th - I know its not 'up there' but it was a quick setup and I didn't finish the whole race...because I was just testing things out.

However, I found that the A.I. didn't zoom off into the distance as much as I would've thought though, which I found very pleasant! ;)

There are so many things you have to concentrate on such as the braking/gear changing etc...which just makes it more enjoyable...but frustrating at times ):
