hardbaked 30 Posted August 3, 2020 Anyone else notice that when you change your engine supplier in my team career mode the sound of the new engine doesnt change from the original one you selected when you started. I started my career with Renault power unit and have now in season 3 changed to Ferrari, but my engine doesnt sound like the Ferrari engine?

marioho 687 Posted August 3, 2020 Yep, that's a known bug and Codemasters is looking at it already. And reports say that your engine sound will change on the 2nd season with you. So if you went Renault > Ferrari on the eve of season two, you'll have S1 - Renault sound > S2 - Renault sound > S3 - Ferrari sound finally.
inspiretheworld 98 Posted August 3, 2020 Is it just me or just the cars characteristic change with the engine ? I swear my car is more slidey with a Honda engine compared to Ferrari.

marioho 687 Posted August 3, 2020 Just as @CarlosSantos87 said. A slidey car is the picture representation of a trigger happy throttle application. Maybe by changing engines recently you have not adjusted your corner exits to the new engine's performance?

KNT2011 242 Posted August 4, 2020 (edited) It's a Cosworth. Doesn't matter what you pick. It's a Cosworth. Pick a Ferrari? It's a Cosworth. Renault? Cosworth. Change at the end of the season? Still a Cosworth. It's not a bug, intended behaviour. Edited August 4, 2020 by KNT2011
