BrownDaffy 0 Posted August 9 (edited) Hi, Pardon me if the topic I started is rather out of date. However, I'm currently playing F1 2018 career mode in first season. I started my career mode in Ferrari and have just finished the race for British GP. I noted something odd at least from the previous GP (Austrian). The AI in all session (Practice, Qualification, and Race) seem to be out of pace. They're way too slow up to more than 2 seconds in qualification, and I can lap them even twice in Austrian GP. The only serious challenger is my teammate Raikkonen, who only less than half second slower in practice, qualification and quite fast in race (in which the only driver I can't lap and in both in Austria and British GP always finish 2nd). Regarding the car development, my team are way ahead than other teams, including Mercedes and Redbull. Since I'm using keyboard, I set the AI Difficulty to 80, but nothing changes. Only Raikkonen can catch up or even beat me. The other AI seem like sitting duck. My question, is the way I take my car development somehow affect how the AI perform in career, thus creating a huge development and performance gap?
