In my opinion it's stupid thing which should be changed.

Yeah, I agree with you. We should able to start qualifications and race solo.
Grand Prix mode isn't the same like multiplayer session.

The multiplayer car is the same as the Mercedes, so I'd have thought Grand Prix mode with this car would be?

It's not the same. In GP are annoying bots otherwise it's stupid 😂 It should be easily enable to do solo session

Oh right. There are practice sessions you can use in GP mode but you'll still have some other cars on track.

If you do a race against an AI setting you can comfortably stay ahead of you should be able to get a fair few laps in with a clear track in GP mode too but I realise this is more effort than a pure solo practice mode would be.

Same in performance, but different visually. Even though we can now customize the views for each car individually, they are still very different to each other from cockpit. I'd love to be able to do sessions with my "league car" of Alpha Romeo. The problem is, Alpha's performance is nowhere near the Merc or the multiplayer car. Also, in Grand Prix mode you are stuck with driving against a single opponent (team mate), and the rest of the grid is there just to cause safety cars and fps drops.
