Nick19 1 Posted August 19 Since the 2018 season Formula 1 has used the Mercedes AMG GT R as the safety car, but the F1 2018/19/20 games still all had/have the Mercedes AMG GT S which was used in real life from 2015 - 2017. I know this is only a small thing and most people don’t even seem to get a safety car at all at the moment, but I don’t understand why codies haven’t updated the SC model to the latest one that’s been used over 3 seasons now in real life. To me it’s the equivalent of them not updating one of the teams F1 cars and just keeping a previous years model instead Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
marioho 686 Posted August 20 I would imagine it is still there, ever present on their to-do list, but quite low on the priority table. Hopefully we'll be able to change our sponsor logo colors on our overalls before having the latest & greatest Mercedes AMG safety car pulling the train after a Vettel spin or Leclerc mechanical failure.
