Ultra3142 384 Posted August 21 There is nothing to find a solution for . There is a limit to how much energy that can be used per lap which is less than the total battery charge. You get the red cross when you have reached the limit for the current lap. Once you start the next lap you will be able to use overtake again provided you have enough battery charge. Lanius1984 2 Posted August 25 I came here looking for this very answer, thanks. This isn't very clear in-game, but to be fair i haven't gone through all of the game's tutorials. One thing that strikes me as very odd with this is that it would seem to make the later ERS upgrades quite redunant. I'm in Season 3 and already max my usage of ERS per lap and finish the race with close to a full battery. Therefore not really any use in upgrading ERS any further unless I'm missing something. Its easier to recharge the battery on some tracks than others though, so you may see a benefit on the tracks where you can recharge less each lap? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
