minetti 74 Posted September 14, 2020 these comparisons are worthless 😉 meanwhile I find myself addicted to the driving model in the latest GRiD, I can't stop 🙊

Project car 3 base game is 60 euro's on steam same as the price was for grid2019 when it was released, and it is bigger then grid2019. Dirt5 isn't released but it wil have more content then grid and base game wil be 60 euro's aswell. And I have no doubt that on console all new games has the same price for a base game Yeah the ulitmate version is OK, I don't buy base racing games at all. I know max editions prices only. Like for next Dirt I will buy Amplified edition for more than $100 I guess. Season pass for PC3 is the most expensive one from racing games AFAIK. 50 minutes ago, minetti said: meanwhile I find myself addicted to the driving model in the latest GRiD, I can't stop 🙊 Exactly! Perhaps it has to do with designing games for mobile platforms Except the game is selling on PC and consoles!

Tripokaridos 20 Posted November 4, 2020 I have really good time with all Grid games , but mostly with Grid 2019 to me this was the best of all series , the only problem that i had is that disabling the wheel i cant move the seat position.
Johnnnn 184 Posted November 4, 2020 I am still happy with 2019 too. It's strange to read how big fault it was 😄 It's pretty good game.

Yeah, maybe. But from Forza forum I know there is always something. New cars, new tracks, new something but racing games are about racing. It's funny when people want more cars in games where you already have 700+. I don't know all tracks yet in Grid 2019 but I haven't played Grids before. I am not sure few tracks changes anything. The other thing are ingame ads everywhere. Is it paid? Because then it makes sense to add some content just because of that.

FragManiac 1 Posted February 26 (edited) If I think hard about what Race Driver GRID had, some of the tracks I miss are Circuito del Jarama, Nürburgring GP-Streckenlayout, Donington Park, Istanbul Park, Milan, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Washington DC, Detroit, and Long Beach. I also miss the more realistic damage model, which made avoiding contact very necessary. What I like from GRID 2019 is hotlap qualifying, and absolutely none of the momentary freezing problems at certain points on the track I experienced in Race Driver GRID. I DO wish however they'd kept the option to customize race length. Many of the events in GRID 2019 seem impossible at first, like the Tenshi Way track that ends with a steep hill climb at Okutama. However I managed to get a 4th place starting position via qualifying, and managed to win the race. Despite it's few minor shortcomings, it manages to challenge you to find ways to win, and has decent replay value. Sure the Nemesis system vs a realistic damage model is a more arcade approach to keep you driving clean, and the lack or abundance of track warnings often makes no sense, but the race action feels very immersive just the same.
