Bramhendriks03 0 Posted August 25, 2020 Since a couple of days I’ve had a problem with f1 2020. In a multiplayer session , I post impossible lap times in qualifying, but I’m new to the game. And when I start the race, I change into an AI for my friends, and they become AI’s for me too. All the online players in my session get a red cross behind their names. This isn’t caused by internet connection, because I can play other games without any problems I really hope someone can help me with this problem. Thanks in advance
BarryBL 4,429 Posted August 25, 2020 Hi, Thanks for adding your issue. However, we require all bug reports to follow and complete the template below. This is critical information Codemasters needs to be able to see your bug clearly. Link: Please add your bug report onto this thread or I will not be able to replicate or diagnose. Can you grab a report code if possible, which is done by Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > Bottom left hand corner of the screen (16 digits) in-game. That code is valid throughout the whole session.

BarryBL 4,429 Posted August 26, 2020 Hi, This looks like a connection issue with your friends. Can you confirm: Wireless/Wired Speed test Does this even happen with strangers? Are you pausing the game at any point? Can you add a video of the experience, so I can see better.

karnak07 40 Posted October 2, 2020 (edited) my friend has the same problem. we have tried everything, but we can't solve. it's not an internet connection problem. some news? @Bramhendriks03 @BarryBL Edited October 2, 2020 by karnak07
BarryBL 4,429 Posted October 2, 2020 This does look like a connection issue here. It does look like, from our searches @Bramhendriks03 that you were disconnected on the launch of the lobby. It has only been reported rarely, so it might also be firewall affected too. @karnak07, can you complete a bug report as well, with report codes as well so we can continue the investigation. Bram, please add some more report codes when you see this again as it will help. 👍 Also, your speeds from the tests are excellent, but the game measured the bandwidth as quite restricted, enough so to warn you about not being able to talk to everyone in game. Could you also let us know what colour connection status bars you see when you are in the lobby please. If you are running a Firewall, ensure it is set to allow the game to communicate on the following ports for both inbound and outbound traffic: TCP and UDP port 3074
