The MyTeam Teammate Dilema

So, coming up to the end of season 2 on my team.  I think the one thing all players looked forward to was hiring a named driver as a teammate (I wanted Raikonnen for season 2, retired. Had my eyes on Vettel for season 3, just announced his retirement).

And the dilema is this - my teammate (Nick De Vries) has got himself u to an 83 rating. And he, through luck in a monsoon laden Singapore GP, finished 2nd (not bitter about him getting the teams first podium. Not at all).  But surely I need to live the dream right?  Go for Perez, Gasly or Lando? Right??

*An aside, heading to Japan in season 2 - Ricciardo is leading the championship. Ocon is 4th behind the Mercs, and Renault are about to win the constructors. So I can see this being a VERY interesting driver market with the mid table Ferrari seat open. Seriously, it's Mercedes & Renault as the top 2, Williams & Haas as the bottom 2 and then it's a coin flip to see who finishes p5 to p18.

gasly or lando depending on how much money you've got. De Vries doesnt seem to too bad an option neither as he'd come much cheaper and he'll keep improving

Do you have any permanent buffs on De Vries' stats based on your facilities?

If so, whatever driver you sign will have those too, so bear that in mind when comparing ratings numbers.

Personally I hired Perez after season 1 and ditched Hubert. I'll probably keep him until I can hire Verstappen.

Russell fairly good too especially if you invest in him too as I got him at start of season 2 and second driver in season 1 didn’t finish above 16th at all and by half way through second season Russell had 16 points and car had not improved greatly compared to top cars.
