MDGourley 7 Posted August 27, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone, Started a Screen Shot Post if anyone decides to post their PC3 screen shots...enjoying PC3 so far and even though I would consider myself as a hardcore Sim Racer, PC3 is a welcome release for that casual / eye candy game and at least I can still use / set up all my Sim Racing Wheel / Pedals, Shifters etc and once I got my TS XW dialed in (WIP), PC3 feels ok to me...my Sim Rig below. The car screen shots are mine in-game utillizing Triple Screen compositition. Please Note: The screen shots I have taken and posted here have been captured in game at 5760x1080 resolution only, some have been cropped and all have been re-saved at 50% of the original resolution for easier uploading. MDGourley 7 Posted August 27, 2020 The mighty Sierra Cosworth at the fantasy track Monument Canyon, just stunning lighting...gosh, the AI on 'Very Easy' are still to fast for me...better stop sight seeing and start racing Unfortunately starting to see the limitations of the PC3 'Photo Mode', mainly the free camera can not move outside the track edge so was unable to compose a number of shots due to this limitation
minetti 73 Posted August 27, 2020 nice shots, like it
MDGourley 7 Posted August 28, 2020 (edited) Wow, these Super Trucks are highly entertaining and have decent Physics and Wheel feel on my TS XW 😀...action at Knockhill International Edited August 28, 2020 by MDGourley
MDGourley 7 Posted August 29, 2020 I have a soft spot for the Z28 Camaro, just awesome ...taking it out around Bathurst with some friends. Still adjusting the FFB settings and Project Cars 3 is starting to feel great on my TSXW
MDGourley 7 Posted August 29, 2020 Thoroughly enjoying PC3 at the moment...although AI does need improving as does AI in most Sims / Games so this is nothing new. The Player 'Engine' audio could be a bit louder as I seem to be hearing gear box wine, if that's what it's called and other sounds more than the actual engine sound from the car I am driving. Optimization could also be worked on as it does not run as well as PC2 or Automobilista 2 on my PC...early days yet, maybe with future Updates / Patches etc. ..Oh, and loving the Gear change tug on my Wheel when changing through the gears in Sequential, brilliant work...another well know Sim does this as well. MDGourley 7 Posted August 29, 2020 (edited) Holy Moly, this Esparante GTR-1 is a beast and the Audio is fantastic. ...Dang it, that underground motorway in Shanghai is a challenge going flat out..had a wee accident in the Esparante...lol Edited August 29, 2020 by MDGourley

I personally purchased this in the hope that the FFB / handling was more consistent across all cars....and it is, having driven most of the cars in my screen shots and adjusting the FFB settings in-game to my liking, Project cars 3 feels great to me, so happy with my purchase....plus as an original backer of Project Cars, I now have the 'Trilogy' now PC1, PC2 and PC3...lol As to you purchasing this game, you are the only one that can decide whether Project Cars 3 is for you...all I can suggest is read / watch You Tube reviews with an open mind remembering what criteria you want from this game ie, are you a Game Pad user as I have heard / read that the Game Pad feels great in PC3...are you wanting a great 'Career Mode' as well, these are things that you will have to answer. Remember though you can get a 'refund' from a Steam purchase...not really sure how that works, so you will have to research this before / if you decide to purchase Project cars 3. Hope this is been of help kind regards MDGourley

Hope this is been of help kind regards MDGourley thank you, such an user opinion will be very useful to me and the other readers. I readed that the driving model is much more friendly and that was appreciated by many gamepad players. I also heard the game has some technical issues. is it true that the PCARS3 suffers from frame drops and some graphical artifacts? I didn't plan to buy it at the moment because I have a lot of fun with the GRiD right now but your images are really endearing. I'm sure they will convince many people to try. Best regards and I wish you a lot of fun with this new game 🙂 Edited August 29, 2020 by minetti

MDGourley 7 Posted September 1, 2020 (edited) The rain driving is much improved over PC2...enjoying Projects Cars 3 immensely. MDGourley 7 Posted September 1, 2020 (edited) I would have to say the 'Madness Engine' does a great looking sky / cloud scape, just beautiful. Really liking the Mitsubishi Lancers in game, high performance , quick and nimble, especially the right hand drive ones as this is my countries native steering wheel position so this way I can go 'old school' driving with manual H-Pattern and Clutch for that extra driving immersion...fantastic. MDGourley 7 Posted September 3, 2020 (edited) Just clocked up 32 hours in Project Cars 3 and I am enjoying it for what it is, although have not tried 'Career' as yet as I am just sticking to my hardcare Sim Racer roots...All Cars, All tracks ie 'Custom Event' Liking the Monument canyon fantasy track racing here with cars in 'Same PIR Range' ....like this option as there are so many cars in game that during a race I can see something else I want to try out.
