Claire's broken

Changed AI mid season, so now im at the back of the grid where I should be. But she keeps offering the top 4 as rivals. No chance I'm beating them! Will she eventually offer me lower drivers or is it broken for the season now?

What is your standing? If you are too close to the top of the standings that might be the reason.

I got offered three batches of rivals. The first one was ok, but the second one only had hard options in them. I got my arse handed to me by Vettel I think? Yeah, it was that broken.

Now I'm on season two and got a reasonable array of choices on the third batch. There were everything hard and easy picks.

This second choosing was probably skewed by my championship positions. Though I was landing results from 8th-14th, I got very lucky with grid penalties and safety cars to the point of snatching a few top 5 finishes and even a podium or two on season one already. However even taking your standings as a parameter, I think the game should still offer one easy and one medium difficulty picks for you.

I started on too low a difficulty and didn't 'test' my AI requirements until race 6/7 I think, so I'm about 5th/6th in the standings. I guess that's why.. Twice she's asked me this season and twice I've had to ignore her. Hoping I do get a realistic rival option but I suppose I won't until I fall down the table a bit

It seems to go on your table standings but also the results just before you get the rival offers from Claire as in my first season I was in top 10 for finishes in the 3 races before Claire gave me the choices so I had vettel, Hamilton etc but in second season I had couple of bad races( I seemed to want to wreck my car on bottas every race at that point for some reason) and so got offered 3 near the bottom of the standings and for some reason Hamilton at top lol.
