Esports challenge impossible?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone managed to do it?

Austin 6:55 or lower without DRS plus traffic on first and last lap is just impossible.  My average lap time of around 1:25 and P1 pretty much after the first corner and still can't make it.

Well, Austin in 6.55 means more or less first lap in 1.31 (starting grid) and 4 laps in 1.21 (3 without DRS)

and the last lap w/DRS but in traffic.... Maybe it's a little bit hard...

I can do it 7:20-ish.  6.55 is super super hard.  Everything has to be perfect on top of a very fast car (2250+).

Is this only possible if we remove the assistance settings to zero?

I always drive with 0 assist and it's still next to impossible.

Maybe they only really want 5-10 drivers for the esports final?

I think that's the plan possibly with tangible trophies, not "prizes" in digital pixels.

Good news today!

But I can suggest to avoid Austin: Mexico is easier.

I will retry with Austin, but at the moment I’m on 7.05 on my best...

I was on pace until..............Ferrari’s

yep... they just stop at turns 4 and 5 at Austin stacking up the cars behind them... I get a good start from the back of the pack going wide on turn 1 to carry some speed into the high-speed corners, I manage to dodge under full acceleration going into turns 2 and 3... then cars are stacked up on 4 and 5 and sometimes even 6 because of the Ferrari's...

Nice.  Congrats!  What time are they asking for at Mexico?

My 1900 pi car is getting me about a 7.40 at Austin - I’m not going anywhere!

Hi,

for me Monaco target is 1:03.00 (it was 1:02.50 before) and my best lap is slightly below 1:06.00

So basically unreachable. Makes me wonder about this game. I always considered it a great arcade game. I don't really see the point of going to this esport mentality. If I want F1 sim racing I go to my PC, my racing wheel and there you go.

This is a mobile game. We play that on smartphones 🙄

My car is just not fast enough with my skills, on 5 lap races I need 3 seconds a lap faster than my pb. On single lap races I need to be 5 seconds faster than my pb.

I have however got 3 of the 5 tickets no sure how. I think I got 1 for getting 100% in the Brazil 0 Pi event.
