Of course not. It's not that Codemasters stepped away from it's roots with DiRT Rally, it's that they stepped away from them with DiRT 1. DiRT Rally is just a return to the original series, without Colin's name.

For me, they could take all the stuff they removed for this game, and stick them in DiRT Showdown 3. It's the perfect vehicle for that.
