What purpose does the radio "Car Status" even have?

Recommended Posts

This year we have 3 options to ask for Tyre Status; Tyre,Car,Weather.

This year Car Status is only Tyre and Frontwing damage, but no other damage such as closed DRS or even brake temperature.

Is it just me or is the whole radio this year a downgrade? Rival Question gives less information etc,,

I usually get tire status when I ask for car status. When I ask for tire status, Jeff talks to me about tire wear.

It would make more sense to get info about engine components, and front wing damage, brakes temp, etc. when asking about car status. Leave the tires info for “tire status”.

This is ridiculous. I see my front wing is light green or yellow green, and I ask Jeff for vehicle condition. My results:

Jeff: No tyre concerns at the moment. Just focus on the driving.

Me: Jeff, my wing is gone....

I mean seriously. Vehicle condition information request only gives me information about tyres?

Had the same as well from Jeff, also had him tell me yesterday that no problems with my tires but my back left was at 82% wear and I was sliding all over the place with it...
