I wonder what ai improvements are these.

Probably none. As far as I know, this is the site that seems to "fabricate" information in a way. As in, I don't think they can be trusted. Just read the official patch notes 🙂

It seems extremely unlikely to me that a rushed out patch to fix a very specific bug would also include a change in AI performance.

why the patch does not come out what is needed...
it is necessary to fix global problems, not cosmetic surfaces...

The issue compromised a critical game mode for our players, so we pushed a fix through as quick as possible to keep the integrity of people's efforts valid.

I don’t believe it. We have fake news for patches of video games? And I thought fake news of F1 was hilarious...

Just out of curiosity because I have no idea how it works, do you have get the patches on consoles 'approved' before they can be released?

By the console manufacturers, I mean.

As with any patch for any game, there would be a certain level of approval and testing needed from all stakeholders in the update, yes. Unfortunately, I probably can't disclose any more information than that.

What's the reason for keeping PC on the same versions as console when there's no cross platform?
Other than console players probably getting mad that pc can get updates faster, but that's not really bad thing, just some ignorance on how updates are deployed in console environments.

what does this mode give? nothing!
it is convenient only for the selection of settings and that's it.

It is by far the best place to practice a track, and prepare for a league race. You can drive and drive and get your rhythm without any interruptions, you can finetune your setup, compare yourself against other real player as well.

Ideal game mode, and the majority agrees

The ability to learn tracks and get faster driving round them. Plus the ability to see how your times compare to others.

I think you're very unusual in having no interest.

I don’t use it. Neither do my two sons. So maybe not “very” unusual.

I still think it is very unusual myself but I obviously don't have any data to prove this. It's definitely not an obscure niche interest though .

Then comes the league race, where tyre wear & fuel burn is a thing, you have cars firing off in every direction because the practice they’ve done in time trial doesn’t factor these elements of racing into the equation 🙄
