Is there any solution to f1 2019 version from game pass for 3000 series GPU ? can't start the game (crash dmp)

Please don't tailgate unrelated threads.

This looks like a classic case of Nvidia breaking compatibility and focusing on newer features if it is only the 3000 series that has the issue.

I'm sorry you are having to wait for a solution, but responsibility may well be joint.

But there is solution for the steam version. That would work if there was possibility of removing the two dll files from windowsapp folder.

Then contact Microsoft about the issue, you pay the Game Pass fee to them, do you not?

Responsibility may again (for the sake of diplomacy), be joint.

As Steam User, should I blame Steam because DLSS doesn't work with the workaround? The workaround isn't a solution. As Customer, I don't care if it is Nvidia's fault or not. Just fix it, or find a solution together with them. Maybe you should also inform your customers on the product page that F1 2020 isn't fully compatible with the RTX 3000 Series. Everything else is fraud. And for F1 2021, maybe you can find testers with an RTX 3000 😉

DLSS does work on cards that were around at launch, 2000 series, etc. You're correct the workaround is a workaround and not a solution. F1 2019 being on Game Pass is also therefore a Microsoft issue as the workaround cannot be applied due to their restrictions.

I am sure that Codemasters will be applying whatever resources are available to find a solution with Nvidia for F1 2020 as long as it remains in active development. I am also sure that the 3000 series cards have compatibility issues with other titles.

There is no reason to suggest anyone has acted fraudulently. Absolving Nvidia of any responsibility is madness.

I'd like to state that this is my personal opinion and not that of Codemasters, Microsoft or Nvidia.

You really think we haven't done that already? This just seems like you are taking your job as a joke and pushing problems aside. This has been under "investigation" since December and we got no respond, 0. Your team are probably the ones who can get in contact with Microsoft the best and we as customers just get support that can't help. Take your job serieus, please.

You have your opinion, but you really have no idea. Thanks for the input.

I'm sorry for getting a little heated in my first message, I got the game working on xbox game pass with a RTX 3000 series card, unfortunately this did require me doing stuff with a third party program, am I still allowed to post the solution?

It has been 9 months since this forum started and there is still no solution to the crash dump for players that play it with the Game Pass. Please @RedDevilKT @BarryBLtry and fix this issue. I was really hyped to play this game and I want that to be possible without having to buy it on Steam.

It's not only the gamepass version. I'm playing on steam and I get the same issues. If I delete the files it launches, but there are just odd graphics things happening (for example, in the Monaco tunnel, everything goes ultra bright instead of dark).

Terrible support on this. Honestly should be refundable even if you have more than 2 hours played cos it simply is not playable anymore.

Hi @Vapochilled I can a ssure you that I (and @BarryBL) work for Codemasters. Barry is out-of-office this week so response times are a little slower than normal while I also pick up his work. Our friends at Nvidia have helped us put together a handy guide for any users on their new GPUs and experiencing this issue. Please see the attached.

F1 2019 - Ampere Crash Workaround.pdf

Thank you sooo much it worked for me, I couldnt play for about a week!

Hi Codemasters!

I saw the workaround for F1 2019 and I guess its working for the people who got the game on steam. I have the game on Xbox game pass so I cant access the game files to delete those 2 files. Please can you provide a fix for the xbox game pass users

Kind Regards,

Ettiene

For users who use GamePass versions of F1 2019 on the PC with newer RTX 30XX cards, you know the frustration of it not starting. This can be overcome with a little work and getting the game out of the encrypted state from the WindowsApps folder. HALO users also do this for mods and there is instructions on how to get the game located someplace else on your drive. This will require you to enable Developer mode to re-insert the application back into the XBox app, and it will no longer be encrypted. I did utilize a revised version of nvngx_dlss.dll (v2.1.66) from Bethesda's DOOM Eternal installation after deleting the older original from the Codemaster's directory, and does not crash F1. You will need to delete/rename the nvngx_dlisp.dll file though.

Basically you'll install GamePass F1, launch and do not close error, then export the files using UWPDumper and when complete copy the entire DUMP dir to a location that it will reside perm. Once done, you'll kill the error box, uninstall from XBox and modify the copied folder files. Enable developer mode in the OS and then import the Appx following the instructions in the provided hyperlink below.

Happy motoring!

How to dump F1 2019 / Same as HALO
