GRID 2019 PC - "Insufficient Storage" Error

I just purchased Grid 2019 from Steam and was trying to dive right in but I cannot run the game.  I get an error stating that my C: drive has insufficient storage.  This is technically incorrect as my C drive has plenty of space.  What I suspect is going on is that the game is checking either my windows profile temp directory or the windows temp directory and reading free space.  So what the game is actually reading is the RAM drive I use for all temp files which is 2GB.

With all that said, is there anyway around this check?  If not how much free space is required to run the game that is must detect before it will run?
