hsf 21 Posted September 28 (edited) Queue up practice programs I think having the ability to queue up practice programs, or start practice programs from the pause menu would be a good idea. A lot of the programs are on the same tyre(Fuel, Tyre wear, ERS, Race Strat) and are often completed on the first hot lap. This is massively ineffecient, as it adds 2 laps per program on top of the completion lap, contributing to large tyre wear in the shorter sessions(25%/50%). Season calendar changes Every year there are changes to the race calendar. This in my opinion should happen on the driver career/my team game modes. With a lot of people asking for the modified 2020 calendar tracks, perhaps adding them into 2021's game on a rotation might be a good way to include them. Every season going back to 2015(using this as a reference to the 2015 game), there have been calendar changes in some form or another, new tracks added, tracks switching with other tracks on the calendar etc. To offer an example, in the opening season you could have the default calendar for 2021, then in the second season, switch a track with Imola, then in third season, switch a different track with Mugello, then in the 4th season switch Imola with Istanbul, etc... Become a 'Works' team In the My Team career, I'm in my 4th season and I've nearly purchased everything both facility and R&D wise. The only thing I will be able to spend my money on is driver contracts and the only thing I can use my R&D points for, is for regulation changes. My idea is that you should be allowed to be a 'Works' team and develop your own engine. The Engine would take 3 years to develop and be ready to use, during this time, you would be using an already established engine supplier. You would develop it in a similar way to the way you develop the whole car at the moment, except instead of having Aero and Chassis tree's, they would be replaced with different engine departments. So the 4 tree's would consistent of Power, Durability, Electronics and Fuel consumption. The only mechanics change to the tree would be the addition of cash being used. So a minor upgrade could cost 500 R&D points and £500,000 cash, a major upgrade, 1000 points to £1 million, ultimate upgrade 2000 points £2 million(example figures obviously). The engine straight from the factory should never exceed any of the current manufacturers, but how close it can be to them is all dependant on how much money and R&D points you put into it. For example, if you put the minimum amount of money and points into it, your engine will be utterly useless to begin with. But if you put the maximum in, it will be competitive with the lowest rated engine on the grid. Obviously throughout the season you can upgrade it through the traditional R&D tree to improve it, but the manufacturer upgrades(the little ones that you can't purchase) would be paid for in cash only, as they would require your development. Although the explanation for this might be a bit all over the place, I think I've put the point across. Pre-season/Winter testing Honestly, I'm a little surprised this hasn't been put in, it's a major factor in car development... Sister team or F2 Feeder Team Perhaps I'm venturing into the realm of a manager simulator realm here, but having the ability to either purchase or start your own sister team/F2 team would most definitely help with the inevitable excess cash scenario. Thats all I can think of for now. Edited September 29 by hsf
