MAH87143 10 Posted October 2 Why is it that throughout practice sessions if I am trying to let a car past as I am on an out lap or in lap I find that I have to come to a complete stop most of the time or they just back off and let me back past? I’m not a programmer but since I don’t remember this being an issue with F1 2019 it seems to me that it should really just be a little tweak of the games AI to stop this from happening.
CriggleWiggle 9 Posted October 2 Not entirely unrelated, but I was on a hot lap in F2 practice in Baku last night and as I came out of turn 1, Alesi came out of the pits. He was literally racing me into turn 2 and we both collided. Like you, I'm no programmer but some code needs to be written that at the very least the AI don't go for it straight out of the pits.

DirtDiver25 47 Posted October 3 They only tend to pass you on corners, but slow to match you on straights when you slow down yourself.
