Will there ever be a sequel to fuel?

I loved the 2009 game Fuel, but now that it's six years on I'm wondering if it will ever see a remake. The game while it had some flaws, was overall enjoyable. They races were fun, the environment was immersive, and the vista points? Stunning. 

Having an open world set in such a unique environment with such fantastic races is a great experience. Touring the Grand Canyon and racing through sand dunes, I loved that. Of course Tornado Warning was an awesome race. The cars were unique and the size of the map was immense. All in all, I loved the game (except the soundtrack).

While this post may not incentivise the developers to create a sequel I was wondering if there was anybody else who felt the same way about such an underrated game.

Would love to see another fuel game i even timed myself from one corner of the map to the other sadly i can't find where i written down the time lol
