zZ A M P Aa 43 Posted October 15 Can anyone from codemasters clear up some details for me please. Is the league is set up and played on PC with a special build of the game to include 35% races? Why is the format split into quali round and race rounds? This means the pro drivers can slam softs in any quali session and start on any fresh tyre they choose. Is the tyre wear from qualifying added to the drivers tyres for the races? Is the game hosted by a dedicated server or is it peer to peer multiplayer? Is the format split into quali and races with custom grids to avoid known game bugs happening? I feel the legitimacy of the whole esports thing is very shady, even league races & offline modes dont allow you free choice of tyres and strategy after qualifying. MatrimC 1 Posted October 16 Just take a look at the Esports event that's going on in the game right now and the leaderboard is filled with kids using cheats. I'm not saying that people racing in the actual Esports races right now are using cheats, but the legimacy of the game is downright laughable when Codemasters have zero anti-cheats in the game. zZ A M P Aa 43 Posted October 16 I'm not talking about cheating, the point I'm making is that the 750k prize pro esports F1 competition follows less rules and procedures than any racing league out there, it's so shady.
